I got 2 meat pancakes and 1 chocolate heart. I chose to go because I wanted to eat a little on a table then continue with the visit.
The pancakes were decent - but cold.

On the downside, while sitting at a table, an highly unpolite waiter came to me. I was extremely unhappy to be asked out because I chose to take the food "to go" and the price was different if I wanted to stay and eat in.

I have no idea if the price was different. But I have never ever seen in all my travels such a pricing policy. The waiter (a slightly older person) was way too rude. I simply walked away with a sour taste in my head.

The downside of eating in the heart of the city is that the staff does not give a cent about quality. You basically do not matter because of the crowd will keep coming.

I do not recommend the tavern due to the staff.

I LOVE marzipan so I was floored when I tried this crap that is, to make matters worse, a somewhat known name here. All products taste like week-old sugar cubes, you can't taste the marzipan at all. I bought a small assorted marzipan box, a small "yemas" box and a 3-piece bag of marzipan fruits. I still can't decide which one is worse. For marzipan lovers, I recommend you go SOMEWHERE ELSE and buy something like "pan de Cadiz"

I was looking forward to this given all the amazing reviews, although I'm actually not a big fans of this dessert because I find it too sweet. I got a couple of pieces and yep, it taste just like marzipan. Meh

We have always loved Marzipan and the products here are exceptional.

The rich cakes and almond pastries here are so fresh and tasty.

They can gift wrap you purchases too, but that doesn't really work as they will never make it home- except maybe an empty box.

We tried marzipan from three different shops and by far these are the best! My favorite is the fruit shaped and colored like real fruit! They have a chocolate inside and a fruit liquor inside the chocolate! I plan on stopping by there again on another trip to Spain just to buy more fruit marzipan! Delicioso!

Highly recommend trying the marzipan here when visiting Toledo. They also sell beautifully packaged gift boxes that make a great souvenir.

Cute shop with lots of marzipan. Tried the Yemas, which was way too sweet but still L delicious, frutas mazapan, and mazapan surtido. Surtido was definitely the family’s favorite!
For making a majority of sales to tourists, think the service can definitely be improved.

Maybe because it was so fresh, maybe because I was on vacation in Spain...but this is the best Mazapan I've ever had. I bought a medium sized box which I continued to enjoy over the next week or so.

Come here and enjoy!

I asked a local about soft turron and they told us that Santo Tome did the best marzipan and could give advice about where to buy the turron we were looking for. There are a couple of branches of this place and they have a fabulous range of high quality amazing looking marzipan products. They do lovely gift boxes. I would also suggest trying the marzipan (and especially the Yamas) made by the nuns in the convent of St Antonio de Padua.

The marzipan is great, the best i have ever tried and I come from the city of marzipan, Toledo, but they have more tha marzipan, everything they have is awesome delicious. The cream they made, for me, is the best ingredient you can order there, everything that has cream is excellent. San Marco cake, pepito de nata. Their coconut small cakes, their chocolates.

Theis are just the best. I hope the keep doing this great job forever!!
