We went into this church to see the panoramic view, which was amazing. The only downside was that it was hard to take a proper photo of the view without fearing for your phone's life. Hard to do group pictures also as the space is limited. But if you're just there to enjoy the scene (instead of photographing it), it's... More

Admission to the namesake church of St Illdefonsa is included with the Toledo tourist bracelet. The white, bright interior caught me by surprise. The beautiful central relief (over the altar) portrays the “Imposition of the Chasuble” on the saint. After you’ve admired the side chapels, head for the entrance to the bell tower for spectacular views of the historic old... More

We love all old churches, and loved this one too. Especially nice to get a chance to see the view from the towers. Rather easy climb to the towers and it's broken up into several stages. Great view of rooftops of this densely-built city.

The interior is very interesting and beautiful, but for me the view of Toledo from the bell tower stole the show! We visited in the morning and returned 6:15pm as the sun was setting to see the roof tops, hill top castle and main cathedral. Amazing vista. Entry is part of the €9 tourist bracelet (includes 7 historic sites) and... More

If you want a over all view of Toledo this is the place to visit other than a religious visit. the view from around both towers is excellent, for a small fee of course, worth it I think, its a bit of a climb getting there but worth it I think.

Terrific baroque church built by the Jesuits and completed just before they were kicked out of Spain. We arrived at 6.30 p.m. with plenty of time to climb the 150 or so steps up the tower. We were told this would be the best view of Toledo. We had the two towers to ourselves, and wonderful views. Didn't have the... More

It's nice to go there to get a good view of the city, but other than that, I think it's just a nice church.

As part of the red bracelet set, it is worth a visit, but I don't think we would have bothered if it hadn't been. It is lovely though.

Interesting architecture, the view from the tower is impressive, lots of steps to climb up. One of the "tourist bracelet" attractions.

This is an excellent visit. It is a church with two bell towers that you can walk up the stairs to the top that give excellent veiws of the city. The church is very clean looking and has some interesting history. It was built from 1629 to 1765. Entrance fee is 2.50€ and there is a small guide that contains... More
