I went with Entorno Toledo for a night walk around Old Town. They were talking about legends and sotries about some places that wssn't even mention in my Lonley Planet guide. It was a great time! I totally recomend them to do the walk through Toledo as you will see this city from new perspective.

More architecture well preserved. Interesting and a short walk from the centre of town on a dry day. Nice views from here and good for photography.

Toledo is always a must when travelling to Castille (Spain), whith its narrow streets to stroll whilst appreciating the vestiges and buildings of a cultural past of social integration. At a short distance from Madrid you can also make a day trip to visit this medieval and renaissance city were Muslims, Christians, and Jews, lived in harmony for many years. The hotel was an ideal comfortable place from which to start my strolls in the mid of celebrations of the feast of the Holy Kings (Epiphany); staff was also very nice and let me choose my room from which to have the best views of the old city.

We arrived in Toledo from Madrid by train. It takes about 30 minutes from Madrid's Atocha Renfe train station to Toledo. From there, you can take a taxi or a bus to the city centre (Zocodover). It's a couple minute's ride either way. Once in the centre, you can visit the souvenir shops, have lunch at the restaurants in the main square, and then get lost in the town's medieval side streets. We were there in the heat of July, so the streets were completely empty except for some tourists, so we had enough time to photograph anything we wanted without being distracted. The cathedrals, the restaurants, the view from the top of the city, the beautiful Tajo River that surrounds Toledo, and the amazing architecture were all amazing. We actually felt we had a better time here than we did in Madrid. If you're in Madrid and would consider a day trip outside the city, Toledo is very highly recommended. I would definitely like to visit it again, but not in summer. Maybe spring or autumn next time.
