On Plaza Mayor you can find few restaurants. On nice weather you can eat outside and enjoy nice buildings and water fountain.

All Plaza Mayor seem to be totally different! This one is quite large and they were getting it set up for Holy Week (semana santa) Celebrations when we were there, so there was a lot of heras fencing in evidence and access was somewhat limited....More

We enjoyed walking in this plaza during our stay in Ciudad Real. Especially at Christmas time with all the lights at night. There are many restaurants and shops surrounding this plaza.

The only reason to come here would be to visit one of several bars and restaurants in the square and even then I couldn't tell you of one decent tapas to be had

The plaza mayor crown jewel is Helados Moran however there are plenty of shops, restaurants, a water fountain, government building and clock. You can enjoy the small town city life conversing with locals while drinking a cold beer and enjoying patatas bravas tapas.

Small plaza with restaurants and shops. Very similar to other plaza mayor in spain, but quite small. There are not many restaurants and they get quite busy. There's a clock in one of the corners where you can see at certain times of the day...More
