Picos, Potes & Soplao Cave

10 reviews
Travelers to northern Spain shouldn't miss a chance to experience the region's natural beauty. On this daylong tour from Santander, visitors are whisked to the Picos de Europa mountains, and Hermida Gorge. After a mountaintop photo opportunity, explore El Soplao Cave, and marvel at its natural rock formations. Along the way, visit a small village—Potes—and stop at a monastery housing the Lignum Crucis. Rejuvenate during the busy day with a traditional lunch, included in the tour price.

Classic bank building - interesting but not very unique. Maybe worth a couple of pictures on the way, but not a great attraction on itself.

The Banco de España was built in 1925 by the architects Eloy Martínez del Valle and J. Yamaz Larrosa. The architecture is quite good and is neoclassic in style. The building adds style to the plaza it is on. By the way, the photo of the building for this site is wrong and pertains to the Banco Santander and not the Banco de España. Someone has put the wrong photo here.
