I went there searching for an authentic farmers' market and found, instead, a gentrified food court lacking in character. There were a few people there visiting an eatery, but it didn't offer much in the way of shopping.

Apart from just looking around at the bountiful supplies it is also a good place to create a picnic if you are driving somewhere.

This is where locals go for tapas ... it is authentic, busy and has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

When we visited hardly anything was open and it was quite depressing. The building had been renovated but they need to improve the traders appearance.

This old public market, which was originally built in the mid 19th Century, has been completely renovated on the inside while keeping its looks somewhat as originally built on the outside. It has now a nice tapas bar and several small business.
