Pretty beach with clean sand and sea. Good waves for boogie boarding and body surfing but not too fierce. Large sand area for games. Around 150 steps to get to it so not for the faint-hearted. No facilities on the beach but ice cream van and toilets on the cliff top.

Huge beach, beautiful sand and picturesque rock formations. It wasn't the warmest place to walk in April, however I can see it would be very popular in the summer. I my opinion a great place for children.

This small, paradisiacal cove is located just before the Santander Lighthouse. To access the beach, you must first go down numerous steps, but before you do so, make sure you stop at one of the lookouts and admire the stunning view. You will see a mixture of cliffs, surrounding parks, the Bay of Biscay and the beach, which is completely... More

Most Santander locals deem beaches 1 and 2, or Somos or Bikinis, as the best beaches in Santander. It rather depends on what you want to do or experience at the beach. For me, this is the best beach because of its appearance, recessed as it is within the granite cliffs, and the moderately calm waters. It would be less... More

This is a beautiful beach. If the water is calm, its the perfect spot for snorkling in Santander. The moest unspolit beach in Santander with wonderful views and right open to the Bay of Biscay and not the Bay of Santander like the others. Nature made it this way and It is a long way down which sadly makes it... More

This is a very authentic beach as you have the very clear water with nice sand, in combination with the mountains left and right which create a natural bay. Perfect for a lazy afternoon or to take a swim!

Breathtaking beach surrounded by cliffs so it feels very cosy one might say. We went there on a clear, sunny day. Clear waters and sand. It was also very clean. What more could you ask for!
