It is well worth the trip to visit this beautiful sandy beach. If you are staying in the city, it is better to go by taxi rather than the bus unless you know how to navigate the rigmarole about getting a card which you top...More

Lovely safe sheltered beach. Very very very busy in July with families and young and old. Can hire sun beds in the area if needed.

Great for a walk along the coast with some magnificent views. Some interesting rock formations. Wide expanse of golden sand.

What a wonderful beach! It must be a couple of kilometers long and wide as well. It’s almost the perfect place combining the city with a beach and you can walk everywhere. It’s very safe, clean and well marshalled with plenty of big waves to...More

We were well impressed with this magnificent beach, the stretch of sand was so clean. The waves were fiercer than we expected although my other half did manage a brief swim. It was lovely to see people of all ages enjoying the space and sunshine....More

Great promenade area and the beach is very long distance wise. It is also very clean. A credit to the local council. Ideal for a long stroll in the sunshine.

Had a week across the road in the Grand Hotel Sardinero, literally across the road. Such a pretty backdrop of greenery along an immaculate promenade, a wide bay with little islands on one end and a beautiful little park, lit up at night, on the...More

Right beside the park. Enough parking space(at least in low season), bars, toilets- so everything you could need during the beach time. In September the weather was not for water baths, so cannot comment the water.

I would say 4-5 euros. And yes, there are cabs near the beach. Plenty of them by the Casino and by Feygon. There is also regular bus service.
