Large expansive beach with rocky outpost off shore looks great. Water is colder than Florida but looks nice. Golden sand.

This beach is a great place to go with kids. It wasn't too busy, although we did go in September so I don't know what it's like during peak season. :) There are public portapotties that are very clean. The boys had really enjoyed it!

Go in the morning, heck go anytime but spend time in the soft sand and clear water. I've been around the world but northern Spain's beaches have surprised me with their cleanliness, safety, and clarity. The best.

Very popular, and expensive (!) area in Santander but with lovely 'free' promenade walks and gardens along side the Playa Primera de El Sardinero; impressive buildings nearby the ornate Gran Casino of Santander and the Gran Hotel el Sardinero; variety of bars are on offer.

Looking from far, it is beautiful but comparing with others in Isla or Laredo's, it seemed to me nothing special.

We walked to this beach as part of our stroll from Hotel Bahia all the way to Cabo Menor. It was a cloudy/drizzly day so the beaches were empty but still were guarded by Beach Patrol. The beach is very long and wide for European...More

I would say 4-5 euros. And yes, there are cabs near the beach. Plenty of them by the Casino and by Feygon. There is also regular bus service.
