We booked the PADI discover scuba diving experience and an extra dive as none of us had ever done it before and couldn‘t have been more happy, getting to pet Arya was just the cherry on top ;).
After the initial safety wavers which can be a little intimidating Denis started to tell us the what we had to keep in mind and the basics on how to scuba as well a dry running a couple of moves we would repeat first thing under water to keep us safe.
After getting into our gear we got into the water, dove down to about 3m and repeated those moves again and then set out on our first dive. Denis set a really nice pace that allowed us to get to grips with adjusting out vest so we were at neutral bojancy and also enjoy the incredible sights the underwater world has to offer. The entire time Denis was constantly paying attention so there was never a moment were we felt uncomfortable or unsafe and we could fully enjoy the dive.
After getting out of the water we went back to the dive center to refill the tanks and got to chat a little with Denis while beeing super exited to get back into the water!
On out second dive we got to see even more of the amazing wildlife like octopus, fish and crabs to just name a few. We also got another chance to feed the parrot fish with some worms from the ocean floor which was super entertaining aswell.
During all this time Denis was super nice and outstanding as an instructor! He showed an incredible amount of patience and care explaining every detail, answering every question we had and making us feel super safe. For those maybe worried about a language barrier as a german, there is none!
All in all we had the most amazing time of our vacation here and always felt perfectly instructed and looked after.

Amazing dives with Scubanana, total of 6 dives with amazing water temperature and visibility. All dives were made from shoreline, a lot of fish diversity during the day and totally different during the night, a great wreck dive so near from shore and really nice dive in Boca Cangrejo.The Scubana team is super professional and let you very confortable, also during these Covid-19 days they had implemented health measures to make sure that the divers are kept safe. When i am back in Tenerife i will be diving with Scubanana again. Thanks Denis, Laura, Izaac, Rafa for the great experience, hope i did not forget anyone of the team.

We are absolutely happy and impressed. We’ve just finished OWD course as a family (12-44 years), on 31. December. The Scubanana is fully pro, has equipment of high quality, which is new and above all has great staff. Denis and Isaac are great teachers, both on the surface and in the water. We felt safe, taken care of and had fun. I don’t think it is possible to find a better place for diving on the Tenerife.

Superb diving! We were very well accompanied and guided by Kathy. For my first dive, she took the time to explain all the instructions needed for a good dive. We saw lots of different coloured fish, it was wonderful and very relaxing...
I highly recommend it if you want to explore the seabed around Tenerife!

It was raining a lot where i stayed in Tenerife so I spontaneously decided to try diving. I had such a fantastic time. Pauline took me by the hand and was brilliant and patient and I felt very safe! Would do it again even if the weather is good next time!

I did an introduction dive, was my first time. I was very nervous but the staff was good, educated, very kind and made me feel at ease. They know what they are doing, I felt totally safe the whole time in the water. The weather was not great the day of my dive, I asked to change the day but unfortunately that was not possible. So you have to be a little lucky with the sun & waves. Luckily they are on the Canary Islands ;) The equipment was also very good, plus they spoke good English.

Perfect place to experience scuba diving! I booked the try dive for beginners and had the best of times. I was warmly welcomed and checked in by Marianna. The instructor Lain then expertly explained the equipment and the procedure so that even I as a total newby felt ready to plunge in. Lain took very good care and made me feel safe at every moment (especially since I had my difficulties to adjust to the situation underwater). He took the various needs of the different participants into account and ensured the best experience for everyone. Thank you for the amazing adventure and for being there all the way! I 100% recommend SCUBANANA and their team! See you next time :)

It was the ferst time i have tryd to diving, i thought it will be very difficult, but the team there was very kind und helpfull the made everything easier, I suggest to any one to try that with Scubanan Team . its one of Experin´ments you will N´never forght in your life. thank you so much Scubanana Dive Center -Tenerife team.

We had a really nice dive with Izaac, he was really attentive and made sure we were feeling comfortable. It was one of our first time and one of us has a license but he made it an enjoyable experience for both of us. With his jokes and great English. Also due to us leaving the island sooner than expected they found a time for us to do! Would 100% recommend really good experience!!

My son and I completed our open water certification at Scubanana, and it was perfect. Zuleyka answered all our questions and gave us a discount code! Denis was our instructor. He was professional, and made everything fun. This was 100% a great experience and if we ever travel back to Tenerife, we will definitely be diving with Scubanana again.

It depends if you are a certified diver or if it's going to be your first diving experience 😉
For certified divers the price for 2 dives is 99€ per person and it includes: diving instructor, diving gear, diving insurance and local taxes.
For a first diving experience: the Discover Scuba Diving price is 69€ and it includes also diving instructor, diving gear, diving insurance and local taxes.
