This is a fairly busy city mall with a wide variety of shops and a Carrefour on the bottom floor. We visited from a cruise ship and it’s an easy walk, ~ 1/2 an hour. You can walk down the waterfront towards the auditorium and take your pics then head up the hill, avoiding all of the traffic and pedestrians across the city.

Decided to visit while staying in Candaleria, seemed a good idea, but we chose Saturday, which was not the best decision.
The whole world & his wife were there plus kids.
Boy was it busy.
Never again on a Saturday.
Having said that it's still good to see all the shops open & no empty units.

I spend there an hour because it was raining strongly :( You can find a lot of stores there - clothes, toys for children. There are not so many eating possibilities

Poorly designed shopping center, only one staircase up from the parking lot, only 1 hidden elevator.
The flow of people block the mechanical belts, there is no surveillance or decent help for visitors, it smells bad.
In short, I don't recommend it.
Better visit the downtown area of Santa Cruz, you will find the same and/or better and larger stores, more variety, better offers and prices, in addition, much more variety and gastronomic quality and all accompanied by the beauty of the city, nature, squares, fountains, trees and art.

I have a baby chihuaha less than 2kg and was not allowed to enter any stores. I have never experienced this anywhere me else in Europe before. I was dissapointed because the policy makes zero sense. The dog is a mans best friend and as such he goes wherever I go. Well unforunately we couldn’t do any shopping.
You should look around open your eyes and update your policy to something you would expect to see in 2021.

Going on the weekend to this shopping center is not the best option, the parking is nearly full. Very crowded shopping center, the food court is very busy in the lunch time. Although the selection of restaurants is decent.

There is some great shopping to be had here, lots of top shops and some quality merchandise, there is also a huge Carrefour supermarket. We had been around the shops and had a few bags with us.
To go into the supermarket you have to put any bags you have into clear plastic bags and seal them on a heat press. We thought it would just be easier to take the bags back to the car and then shop empty handed. So I went back to the underground car park, deposited my bags in our rental car and returned to the supermarket.
I got back to my car 30 minutes later and it had been broken into. Everything had been stolen, including my sunglasses and sat nav which were in a locked glove box.
The rear windows had been forced down using suction pads attached to the glass, the marks were still on the Windows. They then opened the doors and rifled the entire car. Nothing had been on display so whoever did this watched me return or followed me to the car.
The car park security were not interested, shrugged as if it happens every day and the police wouldn't come out. They were not interested unless a passport had also been stolen, which of course in this case it hadn't.
Please do not return to your car with shopping unless you intend to drive off immediately. This is obviously a well practiced group of thieves who prey on shoppers.
I'm not letting this spoil my holiday but you should also know that the car rental company do not cover items left in the car and most travel insurance companies want proof of purchase before paying out. In my case I had paid cash and all of my receipts were in the bags.

We were in Santa Cruz on Sunday morning to visit the (huge) car boot sale and market next to the food market (Nuestra Senora de Africa). I wanted to visit C@A as I miss it from when it was in the UK. Acording to the C@A website the shop is open all day Sunday, so we walked over to the Meridien, but all the clothes shops in the whole centre are closed on Sundays.
If you go to the top floor the food court is open, but nothing else.
This was a great surprise, because the centre is full of international chain shops, not small local ones that you might expect to be closed.
From other visits, I can tell you that it is a large centre with lots of shops in it, and the surroundings are bright and modern. Easily walkable from anywhere in central Santa Cruz, and close to El Corte Ingles (which is also closed on a Sunday).

Walked here from the marina and it was a fair walk. But it was a beautiful day so can’t complain. Lots of shops. Spacious centre and very clean. Has a Zara and a primark, h and m and also a big grocery shop on the bottom floor and lots of other shops. Prices were reasonable and spent a couple of hours in here would definitely go back if in Santa Cruz
