Good looking stadium
Feb 2020
Unfortunately, CD Tenerife were not playing at home whilst we were on Tenerife but we did walk past the stadium in order to try to find their fans shop. We were told that it was not by the stadium but on Calledon del Combate, however, due to time constraints we could get to it (I did get a club badge on my return to the UK).
The stadium looks impressive, with a capacity, I'm told of 25,000, and the pitch looked in good order (we caught a glimpse of it).
Hopefully, next time we are in Tenerife we will be able to catch a match.

A great soccer evening out
Feb 2020 • Solo
While on holidays in Tenerife why not support the local soccer team, CD Tenerife? It’s in the heart of Santa Cruz. The capacity is 25,000, the main stand is fully seated and covered. €31 is the most expensive ticket, but you can get in as cheap as €13 for an adult. You can buy the tickets online to print or at the stadium. As CD currently plays in the 2nd Spanish La Liga there is no need to buy in advance.
The pitch is in perfect condition. The score board is modern and shows videos.
The fans are very nice, no animosity, but very supportive of their club. Their anthem is ‘Tenerife adelante’ which you can find on YouTube.
Parking is easy, their are a few 24 hour parking lots around the area, €5 for the night.
Drinks and snacks are cheap. You can buy fan memorabilia from the numerous stands outside the stadium at reasonable prices.
If you love soccer I highly recommend a visit. Fresh, but warm sea breezes coming in from the Atlantic make this a very special experience.

Great evening
Feb 2018 • Family
We went to watch CD Tenerife playing Córdoba in Spain’s Seconda Division. Lovely stadium, max capacity 25,000, nice staff, affordable prices, got a seat close to the pitch. It was during carnival season so a few locals were wearing their fancy dress to make this event even more colourful.
There are food stands in the stadium, but their choice is very limited so you’re better off arriving a little earlier to get some grub outside.
We were lucky, Tenerife won 5-1. Even though the attendance was only 10,200 the home fans created a great atmosphere, even arranged La Ola towards the end. Perfect evening for someone who loves soccer.

Not a new stadium, but a nice place to watch soccer. Tenerife fans are really nice and cheerful. Had a great time.

Big old bowl-type stadium, good family atmosphere
Apr 2015 • Couples
We went to see CD Tenerife v Llagostera in April 2015.

Tenerife are currently in Liga Adelante (also referred to as Segunda Division) which is one below their top-flight, after they were relegated from La Liga a couple of years ago.

The stadium itself is a very large old two-tier bowl stadium, with just one of the side stands having a roof. Considering the weather all-year round I don't imagine that's a problem very often! It is located in the Western end of the city centre on Av. de San Sebastian, in easy walking distance from the centre along La Rambla de Santa Cruz.

To get tickets, head to the Northern Western end (Herradura) where you can buy them through the sales windows on the outside of the stadium. We sat in the Herradura end, which was mainly populated with local families. The opposite end of the stadium seemed to be where the "ultras" were located in one particular block, and they made loads of noise throughout the game. We paid about 20 Euros each for adult tickets in this stand.

Inside the stadium there are plenty of bars to get drinks and some basic snacks etc. and outside the stadium there are other bars and also lots of stalls selling CD Tenerife merchandise.

CD Tenerife Won
Mar 2015 • Couples
Purchased 2 tickets 1/2 hour before kick off. The Tribuna Stand is the only one that is fully covered. Excellent views of the match and of course even better as the home team one.

Part of a very good day out
Jan 2014 • Solo
As a football fan, I took the opportunity to watch CD Tenerife at the end of my holiday. The game started at 7pm, so I planned a full day in Santa Cruz. It's easy to get to by bus and with a Bono card, very reasonable. To get my bearings, I walked to the stadium from the bus station, around ten minutes. With no cash turnstiles, I bought a ticket from the ticket window, 20 euros for upper tier. The lower tier I believe was 15 euros. For the next few hours I wandered round the beautiful city of Santa Cruz. A far cry from the tourist resorts and plenty to do, including taking a tram up the hills. After a meal, I went to the ground an hour before kick off and you need to head to the far end of the stadium where there are many bars. They are busy but the atmosphere around them is great. There are also a few stalls selling hats, scarves, badges, shirts etc. There is little point going in to the ground too early as unlike English grounds, there is little in the concourses. The ground itself is excellent with a good view from every seat. Tenerife lost 4-0, but the 'ultras' continued to sing throughout giving a good atmosphere, despite the stadium only being a quarter full. It was easy to get back to the resort afterwards from the bus station and for football supporters who like to visit different grounds, then work this one in with a day in Santa Cruz and you won't be disappointed.

Nice stadium, great match day vibe
Oct 2013 • Couples
Visited the stadium for a match against Mallorca. The stadium is a nice size for a smaller team, great atmosphere for match days, although I may of been lucky as I was watching a well known team come into town.

Prices were reasonable, parking was fairly easy.... all in all, if your a soccer fan then go check out a home match and enjoy a few hours of footy. Also, as many stay in the south isle, the team has a club store in the south, Lagos de Fenebe, you can get pick up club merchandise at the store or make arrangements to go up north for a match.

Home of Clud Deportivo Tenerife, it is a quite big stadium. Great teams (Barcelona, Real Madrid, etc) came to play when Tenerife CD was in first division. Now the team is in second B, but it is goin up soon again. Excellent stadium.
