I rented surfing equipments for a few hours. My opinion on the surf school is in between. The wetsuit was really old and pierced. I suggest they buy new ones. The surfboard was okay. And you can choose the size of you already have experience. The staff members are nice, but they sound a bit rude at the beginning (suggest to be a little bit more smiling haha). The good thing is, if you ask them, they explain to you how the current works. And they seemed to care about their students safety. N.b if you surf there for the 1st time, be careful with the rocks everywhere under the water.

Thank you very much for your opinion, as for the wetsuits, open been a punctual case, since we try to have them in the best possible conditions, but we rule for it, as for the workers, they always tend to attend with a good attitude, although sometimes it can happen to us. Thanks for the opinion and sorry for the mistakes

I rented a board from these guys for 10 days. I had to pay a deposit on top of the rental fee so that I could keep the board at my hotel. Which was fine, as this is a pretty normal thing to do when renting equipment from little shops. But I found out about a month after my holiday ended that they didn't refund my deposit. I tried emailing them and got a vague response saying they'll take care of it, but they never did. In retrospect, I should have never trusted them. The woman who helped didn't seem to know what she was doing and the entire office seemed disorganized. But I travel often and am used to renting surf boards from laid back businesses, so I didn't think much of it at the time. I'd still like to think this is an honest mistake on their part, but having them blow off the issue makes me think they just don't care whether or not their staff scams customers.

Hello Sir, there has been an unfortunate confusion. Our surf school has been open for 12 years and this is the first time that this has happened to us and we have never cheated anyone, because if we are known for something we are hardworking and honest people, they may like our services more or less, but never scammers. You use this adjective very lightly. This situation seems strange to us, because the client has to bring the rented material to the store and if there is no serious damage to the table, we will refund the deposit immediately, because in the event that the money could not be returned, We would have asked for a bank account number to reimburse your deposit, I can assure you, that was what we told you when you wrote the only email you sent, that we would "verify" what happened and give us more details, full name and so on. We check in our register, that if what you wrote was true, we would return the money without any problem, but that we would need an account number if it came back, but you did not contact us directly. write this comment on this platform, it is not a way to solve things, because we do not have any problem in returning your money if there had been No mistake, because we repeat, refund deposits as we deliver the material, that we do so for 12 years. As you will understand, we must do tests, because many customers from all over the world pass through our facilities, throughout the year, when speaking, people understand each other. We also have a customer service phone and an email that is published on the web and social networks.  a cordial greeting

Went for a surfing lesson in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. Called to make a reservation, could come the same day. That was great. When we arrived the owner wasn’t very friendly, we handed our 35 euros each. Wetsuit and board included. After paying they asked us to come back in 10 minutes. Didn’t feel very welcome. When we got back we got our wetsuit. Changed and got ‘instructions. Basically how to stand up on a board. No explanation of when to stand up during the wave. For a beginner the instruction wasn’t very useful. The instructor we had was really nice The surf is a reef/rock break. Basically the ‘lesson’ was being pushed into a wave by an instructor yelling: “paddle”. I surfed before so I kind of knew when to stand up. But my girlfriend never surfed before so the instructions for her where poor. After you hit the wave and paddled back you had to wait for your turn to be pushed again. Not explanations no instructions. The instructor was very friendly though. The other instructor didn’t speak English and was laughing all the time. It was safe to say that we didn’t feel very comfortable. Ive been to over 10 surf schools but the lesson here was not really a lesson. Wouldn’t recommend the school to anyone.

I've never tried surfing before and it was my first surfing experience in this surfing school. My dream came true here, everything was great, the people, the location, just everything except that it was a bit overcrowded. But again it's a surf school, so for the first time it was perfect. :)
