Enjoyable beach, special because of it's black sand. The only little problem are the waves in a combination with rocky entrance so you might have a bit of trouble getting out of the sea. However, very well worth the visit.

We returned at this beach 3 x to relax in the waves for 2 hours: free parking near, a lot of restaurants (a lot of *beach businessmen* as well - with coconuts, sunglasses, massages ...), comfortable access to the ocean.

For me it was just a bit too far to walk, A taxi there from near the lido was 3 euro and took under ten minutes. You can either get dropped and go down some steep steps to the beach or take a stroll round the picturesque Punta Brava. From there it is down a fairly steep road to the... More

Nice little beach with good sand, nicely sized waves, a lifeguard, showering facilities and some fascinating rock pools. Would definitely recommend this beach if you're nearby.

Where is three or four place to entering in the water, some entering place is calmer so you go with children. The beach has toilets and water fontains for wash up after swimming... More

Is a very beautiful and special beach due to the black sand. is not a very large beach but not a very small one. is really nice , not to quiet not to crowd . is my favorite beach from the north side of tenerife.

This black sand beach is small but pretty. On normal days there is enough space. Deck-chairs and parasols can be rented on a daily basis (3 Euros). Showers, changing rooms and a little cafe are around. The wind is not that strong compared to other beaches on Tenerife.

There are much nicer beaches with black sand on the island. We found it overcrowded. There is only a small restaurant/cafe but no possibility to shower and to change (or we haven't seen it).
