Beautiful beach with black sand. Make sure you wear flip flops or something suitable on your feet. It's like walking on burning stones....literally. Sea was rough on the day we went but still managed to get in. It was lovely. If you're in the area go and visit.

Really nice beach with black sand. Security guard was always there, so swimming is safe even if the waves are sometimes high. Free restrooms and restaurant are directly at the beach. Only things which was inconvenient were the pebbles making it difficult getting in the sea.

Beautiful beaches! Very interesting the black, volcanic sand. Must see! Warm ground, see water was warm as well. We spent all day there. Really enjoyed!

At the beach you can hire sun umbrellas and sun beds. There are toilets and a restaurant close by. The waves coming on to the beach are quite large. The beach is of volcanic sand and not very many stones.

It's a beach with black volcanic sand. There are showers, toilet, cafè on the beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas aren't free (3€ for one sunbed and 2.5 for an umbrella), but you can bring your own stuff. During our visit it was never overcrowded. This beach is not really for swimmers, the waves are too strong and water is not warm,... More

At first, found the black sand quite odd as we had never seen it but after visiting the beach it was brilliant! The first part of the beach was a pain as it was just rocks however as we went further down, it was a marvellous place to be

The beach itself has black sand which gets very hot in the beaming sun! Getting into the sea is also quite a skill as there are lots of little stones which are quite sharp as you initially get in the water. Once you get further in the rocks are much larger but there is no soft sand under your feet.... More
