A black sandy beach (like most beaches in Tenerife); There are no access charges; Only if you want to rent some sunbeds or umbrellas pay a few euros.

The beach was a must while we were in Puerto de la Cruz. It was a hot day so the black sand heated up very quickly, but it was fine because we could grab an ice cream and a cocktail from the nearby pool bar....More

Lovely stretch of beach with soft black sand. Not too busy when we visited first week of August with a mix of locals and tourists. Life guards on duty most of the time and they keep a very close eye, especially as on the days...More

My fiance & i have visited here a few times this week. It really is a lovely beach with lots of lovely restaurants & bars nearby. Sunbeds are only 3 euro each, cheaper than other places we've been.

A super people watching place. Plenty of space to lay out your towel and relax or pay for the use of a sunlounger and parasol. Usual beach things with ice cream and food outlet.

Black sand, it gets hot. There are also the odd rock or two. Here in Spain at least they sell "Aquashoes" for around 6€. It's a no brainer really. Just have a look at Decathlon on the web and search for Aquashoes
