I can understand why this place was built the northern beaches are pounded by waves which makes surfers happy, and others a widow. Playa Jardin is in the far south of Playa de la Cruz and coukd suffer from the waves of the Atlantic too.
This is a perfect place to visit if your hotel pool feels too small and you need to do proper swimming, but the ocean is too rough.
I found the food and service in the area good for the price.
Visited this place in January and elthough the weather was not balming hot there was joy seeing the crabs perched by the stormy waters.
Highly recommended, there are cards for 15 visits which would be well worth the price if you are more than 3 in the company.

Fabulous water park, we came three days out of 5. Spotlessly clean and a really nice atmosphere.
Unlike anything similar in the UK the enterance fee and drinks were very reasonably priced. We took our own food as we were in an Airbnb which a lot of the locals seemed to be doing

We spent fantastic day in Costa Martianez in the end of August. This place is in the heart of Puerto de la Cruz, popular spot for locals. €6.50 entrance fee €2.50 for umbrella is very reasonable, food is very reasonably priced too or you can bring your own. This place is extremely underrated, should be in top 10 to visit in Tenerife. Water volcano fountain was amazing. If you have kids, it is very safe , definitely recommend. A must for photos!

I’ve been here several times over the years and enjoyed the flexibility that you can purchase a ticket at the start of the day and leave and return as many times as you like throughout the day. This is sadly no longer the case… I left my sun cream (needed) in the hotel so popped back to collect it and when I got back I was told I had to purchase a new ticket! I guess the management need to recoup losses in any way they can. The pools are lovely though and well-maintained, just don’t make the same mistake that I did!

We spent a day here at the pools. 5.50 euros each to go in and that gave us access to the beach chairs and the pools. 1.25 euros to have an umbrella. Small restaurant on site with a limited menu and they did not have half what was on the menu so we went out on to the street for lunch and came back. You can go in and out as many times as you want as long as you have your receipt.

Beautiful day. Splottesly clean well maintained. Fabulous pools 7 in total. Very reasonable prices 1 euro 50 for a glass of wine or beer. Regarding re-entry this is only available in peak season not at this time of year. Would highly recommend.

Nice pools this is needed as the beaches are black sand and rocks . Get some snacks before you go in as once you go out you can't get back in. We had 2 cheese and ham baguettes and 1 glass of wine which was €750 very cheap . There is 2 snack bars a bar and a restaurant. Very clean all over . Nice cool breeze if you go up rather than down . We hired a brolly but didnt need it . So if it is over cast wait and hire one when you need it .

We spent a great few hours here, it’s clean and peaceful with plenty of sun beds to go round. Really pretty around the pools and lagoons, lovely plants. A couple of large beers and a couple of bags of crisps came to 10€, entry was 5.5€ We seemed to end up in an adults only bit, so it was really quiet. Other areas were more family-oriented, there’s a spot for everyone to enjoy.

This was a short walk from our hotel. Cheap entrance fee which includes sun lounger and we all paid the extra €5 for the umbrella. The water was ice cold. Absolutely freezing and it took me over 15 minutes to fully immerse myself. There’s a separate section for toddlers and small children. Lovely watching the waves crash against the wall on the other side and funny watching unsuspecting sunbathers jump and scream as they water splashed over the wall and wet them. Food, drinking refreshments for sale.

This is my favorite place to visit in Tenerife. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, amazing views of the Atlantic and Teide. You can easily spend the whole day here. The salt water lagoon is wonderful to swim in and there are several pools suitable for small children. The Manrique sculptures alone are worth a visit.
