Our trip coincided with the main festival which involves huge crowds watching the procession of various statues, etc. through the streets and out of the harbour. Fantastic spectacle and great fun.

This church is so beautiful inside that we were completely embarrassed. The beauty of the altars on the different side of the walls and in front of you….. you have to see it yourself. All paintings and church stuff are giving you kind of silence and peace only by looking at them. I’ll attach some pictures, but for sure they... More

This is a really beautiful church, it seems to be important to catholics here. I really think you should go and have a look at it. It is very beautiful inside with great figures and paintings.

This church is just a short walk from the main square and set back from the seafront. It's a beautiful church and well worth a visit. There are beggars at the door which some found off-putting but they do not hassle so you can chose to give or not without pressure. There is a small garden outside to sit in... More

A very beautiful church, in the town square with mass in English at 10.00am on Sunday morning. The carvings and paintings are beautiful. Outside are a few benches to sit on and there are a few cafe areas too

We visited this church and were immediately struck by the magnificent interior. What was surprising was the little museum hidden at the back of the church. There were some gorgeous artifacts to see and a very helpful lady explained about some of the exhibits all for €2
