We have been to many SeaWorld parks and zoos. There is something very special about this place. It is attractive, well laid out, the shows were all very good. Our group was an extended family and there was something for everyone from age 5 -65. My 11 year old grandson listed this attraction as his favorite activity for the entire... More

Last visited about 15 years ago and was looking forward to this visit but I was disappointed. Even the parrot show was much less spectacular than I remembered. One highlight is a new walk through aviary with stairs to high platforms (and a wobbly bridge) from which one could see birds at very close quarters. I thought that this almost... More

We really loved our day out here and it's worth every penny. The dolphin and whale shows are amazing and the aquarium is world class - look for the sleeping sharks on top of the glass tunnel. Food was cheaper than we thought it might be. The plants and landscaping are really gorgeous too.

We were taken to the front gate on a little yellow road train, which was free, from the sea front in Puerto de la Cruz. As Zoos go, this one is pretty good. It's a combination zoo, aquarium, and sea mammal park; the name translated means ‘Parrot Park’, which gives you a pretty good idea of how it probably started,... More

I first visited Loro Parque in 2007,I recently returned early December 2015,My first impression was the rude staff standing in front of the toilets desperate for tips, made me feel uncomfortable, then near the entrance there is narrow walkways this is where they catch you to get a picture with a parrot even if you don't want to,I didn't want to so... Loro Parque is so much more than an animal park...they really make a difference in helping save rare species and improving the planet. You can see animals in good settings, babies in the nursery, Orcas, Dolphins and Sea lions among others and the widest range of tropical birds anywhere. These kind of parks tend to sting you for any extras... More

This is really a must for anybody coming to Tenerife. Probably the world´s biggest collection of parrots and a beautifully kept zoo. The word Zoo doesn´t sound so good nowadays but this one is really a 7 star resort for the animals. You can feel that there´s a good rapport between the trainers and the animals. The only doubt I have is... Albeit a pretty expensive visit with entrance, food etc I would recommend everyone to take in this quality venue. Breathtaking shows with whales, dolphins and sea lions add to the memorable visit. Go early and spend all day here.
