- Nicki S20 contributionsFound this on a walkLots of art and painted murals on walls similar to this scattered around. Particularly loved this one. A safe area just to wander and check out the local area, beaches and artwork like this found in various places.Written August 15, 2022
- bparkercarsYateley, United Kingdom1,520 contributionsAmazing art.A surprise when strolling through the old town is the street art. Many of the buildings have nice decoration but the gem is the large paintings on the sides of buildings. A few are quite old with signs of wear but the quality and intricasy is amazing.Written January 18, 2022

Definitely make sure you tour this area and dine amidst the local art!Traveled with familyWritten January 14, 2023

An interesting reason to walk around the old part of the town. These are interesting pieces of art. Many were done in 2014 and some are showing their age. They are generally large, colourful and well done.
You can get a map of them from the local tourist information office although there are more than on the map.

On the hunt for all the street art in the old town. There was a map placed at item 1 it is no longer there so happy hunting. They are only in the old town and don’t forget to look up or you’ll miss them. Beautiful pieces of art.

Now - this is the kind of Banksy-inspired graffiti artwork that I wholeheartedly approve of. It adds colour and atmosphere to an area, as well as providing focal interest. Reminiscent of the fabulous street art in my home town of Glasgow, so was nice to see a latin flavoured influence.

We spent our first morning on a walking tour of historic Puerto with our TUI rep - which was great to get a feel for the town - and part of what he showed us was the Street Art that had been done to cover the sides of Buidings - theres a map of them at the start so you can see where they are - quite interesting and worth the effort

This is an interesting area to walk around, arty type atmosphere and some great murals painted on the gable ends of the buildings. One building was also covered in a huge blanket made up of colourful crocheted squares, they were also wrapped around some trees as well. There was a map showing were the different paintings were and telling you who had painted them. The area is just past the little harbour, just keep walking along the seafront and you come to it.

The Puerto Street Art Project began in 2014 with just five huge murals and many more have been added since. It’s fun to just stumble across them, but if you want to visit in a more orderly fashion, there’s a map (an hour’s walking route visiting 13 murals) available online.

Lots to discover from huge murals, brightly coloured houses to small mice. We had a pleasant couple of hours wandering the streets on a sunny day with ample opportunity for refreshments in the many quaint cafes.

I've read though some of the reveiws for this and they say that you can get a map to find all the pieces of street art. I was wondering where I could get a map? Can I download it online or do I have to wait until I'm in Puerto De La Cruz? Thanking you all in advance
