A fun place to escape from the meandering crowds

Well structured with a planned route (up and down) past many ponds. Lacks TLC and time spent on a good clean up. But overall worthwhile for a gentle wander.

A delightful and interesting garden constructed around several pools at different levels. Lovely views around every corner. A peaceful and homely cafe in the garden by a pool. Not suitable for those with mobility difficulties as there are many steps.

We found this place completely by accident (If I'm being honest we were initially just looking for somewhere to use the bathroom !) and what a lovely find. Extremely calm and quiet and we enjoyed a lovely drink in beautiful natural surroundings away from the bustle of the rest of the resort. The old house intrigued us as well as... More

Initially had a job finding this garden, its a long walk up steps and ramps and not very well sign posted. The garden must have looked spectacular several years ago but sadly it needs lots of maintenance and replanting now. It could be equal to the other gardens we visited if some time and money were spent on it.

Always visit these gardens when in Puerto Cruz but must admit they are not as good as they were a few years ago.

Entrance to the water gardens was about 3 euros. We walked from the main town up through the park and then onto the water garden. Overall it was a very enjoyable walk although steep in places. The garden was deceptively large and we were there a good hour or so. Whilst some areas looked neglected there were plenty of plants... More

This is a private park from 1900 sometimes. It was built by a Belgium man for his wife, and it is their daughters that now run it. It is spectacular, it runs along a step mountain side, and in three "stories" along the mountain. When it was in full swing, it must have been mindblowing, with water running down the... More

The garden is in a very poor state of repair. The water areas are silted up and the water falls have long since seen water. You can gain partial entry by using the café which is rather good. Have a coffee and sit by the pond.

As the guide books say, this is probably a very nice place to sit and have a coffee and cake in the gardens, The actual tour of the gardens which costs a couple of euros was not so good out of its season. When the waterlilies are in blossom I image it is spectacular. The gardens have an interesting design... More

This is a gorgeous place to visit. Lovely gardens, lots of hidden nooks and crannies. A black swan, tortoises and ducks. Lovely flowers and plants and a real sense of wonderment can be found there.
