This is a gorgeous place to visit. Lovely gardens, lots of hidden nooks and crannies. A black swan, tortoises and ducks. Lovely flowers and plants and a real sense of wonderment can be found there.

These gardens are situated on the "territory" of former Casino Taoro, very near hotel Miramar. Can be reached by walking from down town to Bella Vista apartment block. If you are standing with your back to the ocean, then in front of you up hill will be a main road which you'll have to cross and in front of you... More

This was probably a very nice garden once upon a time. Now it is sadly neglected. The pools are very silted up and weedfilled. Lots of terrapins in the top pool. Steep paths with broken concrete. A few months concentrated effort would put the gardens back to somewhere worth a visit. I cannot advise a visit as they are. Go... More

The garden has been built for private use. It consists of small ponds, bridges, stairs and even a small cave, locating in three different levels on a hill slope. There are some ducks and fishes in ponds, but primarily they are dominated by vegetation. There is also a small cave on the lawn of the garden. The place is peaceful... More

It was the first time we visited these gardens given we'd been to Puerto 3/4 times before. They were interesting but the climb between terraces is very step and there were limited places to sit and contemplate. Worth a visit - but perhaps not the first gardens to visit.

We stumbled upon these gardens some years ago and always spend a few hours here each time we visit Puerto de la Cruz. It's a bit of a walk to get there from the town but you pass by a beautiful waterfall en route so even getting to the gardens is pleasant. Once inside, find a vacant table (many dotted... More

After finding the little garden we were greeted by a lady who was more than happy to talk to us and tell us about the gardens. We were happy to pay the 4 euros to enter the garden. The gardens are small but very peaceful they need a little work to make them neat and tidy but we enjoyed a... More

Once you have found it (link via Trip Advisor takes you to wrong location) on the Carretera de Taoro this is a lovely quiet spot overlooking the buzz of Puerto. Whilst it may not be perfectly manicured this is what adds to the charm of this terraced water garden. Look out for terrapins, dragon flies and the black swan! Fabulous... More

Need to be able to walk well and some steps are steep. intersting history and foudn a wuie tcorner just to sit and listen to the breeze and watch the dragonfly. We woudl suggest the gardens need updating and some work on them.

To reach the Jardin Aquatice we walked up quite a view steps past a number of waterfalls. It is pleasant to take it slow and admire the views as you go, the water falls have a cooling effect so it is very pleasant. At the top is the Jardin Aquatico, there are tables and chairs sat out on the grass... More
