The general direction is the town of Benijo
Free parking.
Here there is an observation and hiking trails
20 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours.
We made the one-hour route, enough to experience the forest.
Adjacent is a restaurant that can sit for lunch.
No services in the area.

As all of us are hiking enthusiasts, we really felt down since we could only get there by nightfall, thus not able to enjoy the hike, but the view from the platform is something to see.

We stopped here for a short walk after visiting the volcano earlier in the day. The difference between the two places is unbelievable, from a harsh lunar like terrain to a type of rain forrest. There are 3 easy trails from the car park. Trail 1 is on a board walk and is suitable for disabled access. Trails 2 and 3 are more hilly and can be muddy and slippery. There are many signs warning about this, and if you don't have good hiking shoes trust the signs. Beautiful forest and scenery, and even if you dont do the walks, the drive up here is worth it.

Point to this spot in waze or google maps. Great spot to start your trip in the forest. There are several routes which starts from there that you can take.
One of the routes is even compatible for wheelchair.

If you come to the visitor centre of Anaga park, this viewpoint is just next to the parking lot. You can enjoy nice view - if the skies are clear, it's possible to see the Teide peak.

Pity my phone had no battery and I couldn't take out any pictures of the marvelous views from this spot. You can see the whole town of La Laguna with the lights in the evening which makes it even more beautiful. They also have a Tourist information box if you want any help or information.

We stopped here to use the well signed footpaths that lead down through the woodland - a great thing to do on a hot day, to keep out of the sun !

one thing about tenerife...it is compact enough that you'll find many places you're aware of from guidebooks just sort of within easy distance. So we drove all the way from Los Realejos to Anaga Mountains, which of course mauy be what....15 miles? And this stop was along the way. A very good oasis. Fabulous view of the southern half of the island with Mt. Teide in the distance. Good coffee shop, restrooms, viewpoint. Definitely worth a stop for a rest and stretch.

Hello, can you please share information how you choose the correct path? I will be there with 6 YO child and I would like an easy path to go. Do you leave the car on parking and then just go straight to the wood? Thank you!

I was with 7yo son. Without car, by bus. We started from stop Mirador Crus del Carmen and then went down thru the forest to the next bus station. It was the shortest path, not so long for my son, and enough beautiful for me.
