Shocking water park. Outdated. Poorly maintained
Nov 2021 • Family
Horrible waterpark!. Overpriced for what it was. I went down one slide with my daughter on a double ring and we got stuck. The kamikaze slides rip your back to pieces as there is hardly any water going down them. The floor all around the park is just Horrible on your feet. Broken tiles bricks etc. The food was ridiculously over priced. Save yourself some time and money and just go to siam park. Soo much better.

Slides are so bad

TLDR: GO TO SIAM it’s much much better

If you’re trying to decide between going to aqualand or doing nothing, I implore you to do nothing.

I’m normally quite easy going and almost never write a review, but this place is so bad that I feel the need to. I also normally disregard other bad reviews as most people can be quite up tight with their reviews but believe me when I say they are all true.

The only thing I dont agree with is that the floor isn’t that bad, I bought wet shoes based off most of the reviews but they were completely unnecessary (Siam floors were worse) and they also make you take them off to go down the slides which is just a nuisance.

Quite a few of the slides were closed when we went but they don’t tell you that yet they still charge full price.

The real worst bit is what everyone else says, the park needs A LOT of TLC, though I wouldn’t be surprised if it got shut down soon, I felt bad for the life guards who had to kick and push us off the start every time for every slide, since there was such a pitiful amount of water trickling down each slide, we got stuck multiple times and on the plug hole slides I had to actually get out of the rubber ring to extract us from the side…

I wouldn’t even say the slides are safe, the pools at the end of the slides are about 30cm deep (no exaggeration) and once when we came off quite fast I hit my elbow quite hard on the bottom (no real damage but why not just make it a bit deeper?)

Great for families with small children.

We went to this park as we read the reviews and thought it would be more suitable for our toddler who is 20 months over Siam park.
Me and my partner paid 29€ each to get in and my son was free. You also had to pay an extra 4 euros for sunbeds which I personally thought should have been included in the ticket price.

The toddler area was great, with lots of little slides and flumes to keep them entertained.
The rides for adults / bigger kids were also really good and there was no ques so you just walked on and off which was a bonus.

The only downside would be the food was very expensive, we spent 56€ on our lunch, which was a chicken and chips x2 and a hotdog and chips and 1 cider and 1 beer.
The park is a little bit run down and the water is freeeeezing however it is clean and safe.

The dolphin show is on at 15:30 daily and this was included in your ticket price, the show was fantastic and you could tell the dolphins were very much cared for.

Overall I would definitely recommend for families with younger children and we will definitely be back when we next visit Tenerife until my son is older to benefit from going to Siam park.

Nice little park. Unfortunately a poor relation to Siam park less than a few miles away. The dolphin show was very impressive (although we prefer to see them in the sea ☹️)

Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend over Siam park, which is easily the better park!

My Feet Still Hurt
Oct 2021 • Family
Not normally one to leave bad reviews as I work in Hospitality and hate review sites with a passion!
But this place needs some serious TLC and investment.
We chose Aqualand over Siam this time after visiting both multiple times over the years as we knew the queue for rides/food would be smaller.
The place is in desperate need of a makeover and recruitment of staff.

The old/jagged concrete floors make it impossible to walk round bare foot, it would be easier on the feet walking across drawing pins.
Waited 45 minutes in a queue to get food, absolutely not the fault of the 1 staff member left to deal with the whole park wanting food at the same time.
Paid over 40 Euro for a pizza and a couple of soft drinks, literally similar price to our evening meal whilst on holiday.

Anyhoo…probably will return in the future as the daughter enjoyed herself which was the most important thing but next time I’ll be prepared with Titanium soled socks and a picnic!

Slides for children
Oct 2021 • Family
The slides for children under 10 are very good but the slides for over 120 cm are 7/10. The delphin show was really good. Paying for the sunbeds inside is a shame, the entrance ticket is 29 €. The food was more or less Okay.

Ok
Oct 2021 • Family
Visited with my wife, daughter and grandson and he had a great time, there are a lot of negatives to this place such as the price of the food and paying for sunbeds when you have already paid the entrance fee, the place is not crowded like Siam park but when you weigh up the extra costs of everything you may as well pay to go to Siam park where the food is cheap and sunbeds are free. Overall it's ok.

NEVER AGAIN

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
3 of us went and the place was run down. The paths were all breaking up which made it hard to walk on in bare feet.
The slides looked like they needed a lick of paint ( this could probably have been done in lockdown ).
In total we lasted 1 hour in an overpriced dump, NEVER AGAIN

Good for small kids, otherwise mixed feelings
Sep 2021 • Family
Compared to Siam Park the one thing that struck as weirdest was the need to pay for everything extra on top of the already pricey entrance - the lockers, the sunbeds. Sunbeds should be included, since there's literally no other option if you want to sit down or put your stuff somewhere.

Things we liked:
- more things to do with a 5 yo - wave pool (tiny though), six kid slides, kid area

Things we had mixed feelings about:
- dolphin show - mixed feelings about keeping them captive, but seemed to be well cared for under the circumstances
- masks were required in the dolphin show and in public areas, but there were plenty of people still without them and no one cared to remind them

Things we didn't like:
- extremely hot and painful to walk pavement (broken asfalt, twigs), toddler got blisters on his feet when he went without wetshoes in the kid slides area

No idea about the queues on the slides since we didn't go on any with a 5yo (too short, too scared).
