Well thank you for taking the time to post. You raise a couple of points which I would like to respond to. You arranged for a shore dive on the Friday afternoon you arrived. The reason it was a shore dive was that you were arriving late in the afternoon and the boat would already have left with other customers. This you were aware of this and confirmed that this would be ok, we had arranged a dive guide for you. As it turned out your arrival at the dive centre was later than planned by which time the arranged shore dive was not possible due to the amount of surge and swell making it dangerous to dive from the shore. There is a big difference between shore diving and boat diving. It is possible to dive from a boat in sea conditions that make a shore dive impossible or dangerous. We cancelled the shore dive on the Friday afternoon and agreed to pick you up on Saturday for two boat dives. Please note that when you spoke to Atlantic they had come back from two boat dives. As promised when we spoke on the Friday I waited outside your hotel on the Saturday morning at 9am as arranged. Having waited for 15 mins I went and called your apartment and didn't get a response. I then waited for a further 15min for you to arrive. As I had other customers with me I could wait no longer. I also emailed you on the Saturday morning (as you didn't show) to see if you were OK. Whilst I can understand your disappointment at not being able to dive on the Friday, at no point were we economical with the truth and feel that you misunderstood what was said. We put your safety first and our finances second!
