Nice hike in amazing scenery

It is a nice hike. It took about 5 hours to get from the village and back. The terrain is not demanding. One doesn't require any special stamina or abilities to make it. If you... read more

We drove the stone dirt track for quite some km's before the sign pointed inwards on a track which no car could go with a sign saying Paisaje Lunar 2.4km. (Google Maps GPS points to completely the wrong spot by the way - way earlier than where it is so please ignore it!) The km tally on the sign was... More

I've seen a number of reviews saying this walk is easy IT's NOT!!!! so think very carefully before taking it on. We went as a group of 4 people, 2 were not walkers or ramblers and with stops and rests it took us 7 hours. I have done some hard walks and this walk was at least difficult. En route,... More

It is a nice hike. It took about 5 hours to get from the village and back. The terrain is not demanding. One doesn't require any special stamina or abilities to make it. If you deal with various local guides, do not listen to them, when they they tell you it is dangerous and recommend to accept their guiding services.... More

It took us 6 hours to finish the trip which start from Vilaflor. Weather is too hot for such a trip and the pine trees do not give enough shadows. Luna is nice but does not worth such a long Walk. Remember: bring enough water with you.

Instead of starting from Villaflor we drove further uphill until a hairpin-bend where there's a dirt road. We thought the car couldn't safely take this dirt road so we parked 50mtr from the start of the dirt road and walked it instead. According to our book this dirt road walk was supposed to be a 40 minute walk but it... More

This is a nice walk up in the pine forest above villa flor . There are two spots to start your walk from . There is a local bus from los Cristianos the 482 that goes to Villa Flor., or you can rent a car . The route is well signed posted from Villa Flor. I took a pack lunch... More

We did not do this walk because we were unaware of the facts beforehand. You leave Teide on the road south until you reach Vilaflor. They have a good car park (free) in the centre next to the church and the walk leaves the square below. In the square it tells you it is 13km, 600m of vertical ascent (and... More
