The best way to reach Vulcan El Teide is to go by car and after- to use cable car to the top. I just try the cable car and did some walk, but I saw a lot of people climbing to the top. Of course you have to be experienced and in good health condition to do this difficult climbing.

After having spent a wonderful holiday on the beautiful island tenerife, the only thing missing was, to go on the volcano el teide by your cable car. That's why we booked our tickets in advance on the website for the 5th of november. Already in the car on our way to the cable car station we got a text message... More

This is the most stunning natural attraction on the island, and the number one "must see" thing in Tenerife. The trip up with the cable car wasn't as bad as I thought it would be - and I normally hate ski lifts. Tip - If you find a spot to stand in the middle of the crowded cable car, you... More

There was an amazing view from the top - well worth the long trip up to the top of the volcano. 2nd visit was just as good as the 1st.

Our family of four (adults) decided to hike El Teide, without an entrance ticket. We did not plan it ahead, and that was our loss. We are quite spontaneous when it comes to these things! Any way, we drove up to the Nacional Park and found a spot to park. We were not dressed properly to the occasion (it was... More

This was my second time on this amazing volcano and I loved it as much as few years earlier. The cable car itself is an attraction but when you get up there, see the views, almost touch the clouds - you will have this moment of reset. Remember to take warm clothes (it can be really cold!) and think twice... More

This is a must for every visitor. The nature park is too incredible to describe, the drive up through colourful villages and woods of pine trees, the green the nature is beautiful and then once up there the whole landscape changes and looks like you are on the moon! Really an incredible feeling and too much for words. Go! Don't... More

A must for any visitor to Tenerife. Book the cable car and visit this interesting venue. The views are outstanding when the summit is clear of cloud which seems to occur in the afternoon. The paths emanating from the upper cable car station are fairly good but are constructed from the surrounding rock so good walking boots are recommended. You'll... More

Cable car ride is stunning if not packed in like sardines. we were hussled up and then after 20 mins, a rep came and started hussling us all back again. Make sure you get their early but you can't go to the caldera without a prior permit :-(
