We selected Masca express - el rapido a 1.5 hr zip along the mountains of los gigantes after heading away from the town to view a family of dolphins. They came very close to our little vessel and our skipper knew when to slow for us to get good pictures. The final part alongside Los Gigantes was awesome - nature overwhelming us with its magnitude. A memorable, good value trip. Our only disappointment was the lack of information while on the vessel- not a word was said at any point. However the beauty of the dolphins and mountains spoke for themselves.

We got to the port and asked at their stand about the trip ! We were 8 persons. The lady told us that is a 2h trip with dolphin seeing guaranteed , stop to a beach& drinks included for 20 euros. The boat left the harbour but the sea had very big waves. They did not give us any life vests and said that it is perfectly safe but everybody was very scared on the boat. They started to make fun of us that we are scared. After 40 minutes they realised that is indeed dangerous and returned to the harbour. We went to their desk to ask for our money back but they talked very rude to us and they didn’t want to give our money back. This was a total theft. We did not see any dolphins, no stop at the beach , no drinks included, 40 minutes on the sea. If they were profesionals they would not make the trip , because they know all the time the conditions of the sea, but they are amateurs and their only interest is to take your money. I would not recomend to anybody to take trips with them.

Thank you very much for the feedback. Sometimes the weather and the wind can be unpredictable. (it changes direction very quickly) which means that in minutes the wind and waves can change from good to not so good. However, more often then not the sea is sailiable. And perfectly safe. This sailing the captain desided to go back to the harbor, which was the correct decision. We then offered your group to come with us again. Which you agreed to do. We have the receipt of your ticket in our office as proof of that. We assume that you on the second trip (the day after) had better luck with weather, dolphins and or whales. And also the included swimming stop in Masca bay. We do appreciate the feedback, so we can improve our routines for the future.

Wonderful to see the dolphins but beware that whilst advertised and priced as a two hour boat trip, our boat set off 10 to 15 minutes late, and for the last 15 to 20 minutes the boat was travelling very, very slowly. We were staying close by and noticed that certainly for the "1030" tour we observed that the boat regularly set off 10 to 15 minutes late. The shorter, cheaper trips may well offer the same length of time by the dolphins but would be rather better value for money.

This is an excellent way to see the impressive volcanic cliffs at Los Gigantes as well as perhaps some whales or dolphins. We did not see any wildlife but enjoyed the exciting ride: the boat bumps across the waves and there is quite a bit of salt spray.
