We have been the pioneer operators in carrying out this activity in Lanzarote for more than 20 years, we know which are the most photogenic corners and which formations surprise the traveler the most. We try that the groups are between 10 and 15 pax maximum. We are good connoisseurs of the island's fauna, flora and fauna. Your experience with us will be one of your strengths when you remember your trip to Lanzarote.
During the tour, explanatory stops will be made to learn about the flora, fauna and geology. We offer our routes in Spanish, English, German and French. We offer free hiking poles to participants who so wish. A very personalized visit to discover the wonders of the fantastic world of volcanoes.

Excellent way to see & learn about what makes Lanzarote so interesting. Very well organised. Quick response to booking request via their website. Pickup from Puerto Calero (despite not being an option when booking - but there is comments section). Excellent multilingual, knowledgable guide. Information on leaflet & website is accurate & tells you what you need to know. Will recommend & do another tour on our next trip to Lanzarote. Thank you.

Booked by e-mail from home. Get an answer very promptly. They picked me up on time in front of the Hotel. The Staff is very friendly, TOP! The trip is easy for peoples which are familiar with hiking. We was only 10 Peoples in the Group and feels absolute not that Touristic crowded trips as they normally are. Our Guide from Argentina show us plants and explaned us a lot from the Nature. I just loved. If i had more time in Lanzarote i would go to see more of this beautiful Landscapes...of course with Canary Ttekking. And what i really apprichiated.... i paid this Trip in the Hotel when they bring me back. Fantastic!! ...I know it mostly on the other way....first always -Money. Thank you so much to all of you from the Canary Trekking team! Hope to see you another Time!

Marcelo is an amazing guide who took us on an arduous 3 hour trek up La Corona and to the Famara cliffs. The hike was definitely harder than described, as most of it is over scree and falling was a constant concern for me. This is not a hike for anyone with any sort of mobility issues, but it was excellent and well worth the price.

Can really recommend this walk. We booked through Thomson/ First Choice although our rep had never heard of the excursion! We found it on their website. Unlike most things in Spain the driver was bang on time arriving (he turned out to be German which explains it!). Matauis (sorry for the poor spelling) was great. Very friendly. Knowledgable and well prepared with extra walking poles and wind breakers if required. On the website it said the walk was an easy 3-4 hour walk. Time wise it was about 4 hours plus the travelling time. The difficulty was a little more difficult than expected. Do not get me wrong. Most of it was reasonable, but there were some difficult climbs as you are basically walking up what feels like sand (small volcanic stones act like sand) and then you walk across lava fields which are stones on stones so move under foot. A few people slipped who were seasoned walkers and they said it was an easy-moderate walk. That said i have a bad back at times and my wife has had knee surgery a few years back and despite this we completed it without too much struggle. There are plenty of stops to catch breath and learn about the area. And the pace was leisurely so we never felt rushed. This is all outdoors so is going to be dependent on the weather but the average rainfall in Lanzarote is low so the chances are good. We had it slightly overcast which made it cooler which was nice. I will look out for similar walks in the future.

As my wife is a geologist, we were keen to book this tour, taking in the volcanoes, tubes and blowholes in the area adjacent to the national park. I'm not a paragon of fitness nor youth, but I had no problems negotiating this three hour walk. It can be windy, and some paths are over lava, so warm clothing and trainers are necessary. Our guide was Martin, who spoke to our group in French and English. What shone out was his knowledge of not only volcanic geology but also local vegetation and how it had evolved. He shepherded the group expertly around the seven kilometre trail, constantly maintaining our interest and revealing some breathtaking insights into the volcanic history of Lanzarote. There is a snack provided, but take a bottle of water as well. Pick-up from and return to hotel.
