Quiet museum in part of an old convent. Some fascinating paintings by local artists and photographs of the night skies above La Palma. A rather sad display of stuffed birds and other animals. Although not a lot to see my wife and I came away...More

This museum gave an interesting insight to La Palman history and art. It is a varied collection of exhibits housed in an old convent building. We spent a happy hour here. It is worth noting that it is free entry to over 65s. Just ask.

The entry to this museo came with the entry ticket to the museo in Los Llanos de Adriane. This museo is in and old monastery, and is more or less all art. The building is interesting, some of the art I loved, some not so....More

This museum is not so much about the island, but it's a very peaceful place in the middle of the city. We saw a beautiful exposition with starphotos, a couple of rooms with stuffed animals and many rooms with paintings from different collections. A very...More

I have to confess that I was mainly interested in the architecture but I found myself fascinated by the artifacts relating to the history of the island, some of which is quite wacky such as the conjoined twin goats! There was a display of starry...More

We nearly missed this place but so glad we didn't. An unexpected range of artwork both modern and more traditional with a specific emphasis on La Palman artists. Also some exquisit Astro photography. Well worth a visit if in need of a bit of culture.
