The scenery here is just amazing, it's an extremely beautiful spot. We booked our parking slot online the day before and arrived at the parking area before 9. It was so still and peaceful but with quite a lot of cloud. We set off on...More

There is huge variety of experiences whether you take the walk following the taxi ride from Barranco de Las Angustias or walk up the Pico Bejenado from Mirador de la Cumbrecita or simply view the caldera from Roque de los Muchachos. The clouds move in...More

This is a gem of an area for keen walkers. Fantastic mountain scenery with walks to suit most grades of fitness. La Palma is not a particularly touristy island which makes this area even better; it's not overrun with visitors. Walk at 7,500ft looking down...More

Once at the height of 2km you get an Amazing view at the rocks of the caldera. You can start at Los Brecitos for a walk through the mountains. Unforgetable

Would strongly recommend for walking. Relatively easily accessible by the no 300 bus from Santa Cruz (indeed there is a stop at the visitor centre but TILP, the bus company don’t flag it well). The two walks I did were both spectacular and not particularly...More

We drove up from Santa Cruz. An interesting drive.... to put it mildly. But incredible scenery. Be prepared to take a pack up. Hoping to go again. I would say if you’re in La Palma it’s one of the must do activities.
