Definitely worth visiting while covering Timanfaya National Park. The lagoon itself can't be accessed directly but can be viewed from a photo point. However the nearby rocky beach is intresting and the cafe and souvenir shop are excellent. Would definitely recommend sitting in the cafe with a glass of Sangria, just to take in the exotic views of the sea!

Quite nice playa, just several minutes from Puerto Naos. It was quite wavy, but for kids were nice for catching waves. Beach is black sand but in the sea are stones, sk swimming shoes would recomended. All swrvices you can find at place - shower, wc, bar

Just a few minutes drive past busy Puerto Naos is this lovely little beach. It has all the basic facilities ie toilets, boardwalk, some beds and brollies but it’s much quieter than the beach at Puerto Naos. There is one small beach bar/cafe but we didn’t get the canance to try it. The beach is very flat and the sea is easily accessible. The hourly bus to Puerto Noas does come here on alternate journeys so you don’t need a car but it’s probably a good half hour walk.

The Charco Verde beach is very close to Puerto Naos in a secluded, sheltered and serene location. There is ample car park space and the walk down to the beach is via a gentle ramp (wheel chair friendly). Like the rest of the beaches in La Palma, the sand is black but here the dip into the sea is gentle and the waters are calm. Sunshades dot the beach and the bathroom facilities are good. We visited on a Sunday but the sole cafe/restaurant was not open. An ideal spot for a picnic. Not overcrowded.

Very quiet and beautiful beach. Great waves and nice surroundings. Only one place to eat that opens around 13:00. Close to puerto Naos
