We spent several hours in this garden full of fascinating cacti and other exotic plants. Some really strange looking things that looked as though they could come from another world! You can access the park from the valley floor or from another entrance at the top of the hill and then work your way down a network of paths to... More

One of my favorites in Gran Canaria! Good local food, good service and during the weekends they have a special space (small) for the kids to play while you are able to relax a little bit!

I have given this a poor rating because I think we visited at the wrong time of the year. The place was run down and we did not spot a single flower! We parked on the road at the bottom but found out later there was a car park at the top of the gardens. Walking from the bottom of... More

Parked at the low entrance, no need to be an athlete to visit most of the garden from there. You will see a good selection of plants, and some animals to. We met a very nice family of ducks, who in their own way asked for food. Nice restaurant at the top of the garden. Be aware that you should... More

Visited Jardin Canario which is a 15 minute drive out from Las Palmas -part of Las Palmas Tour through the 'First Minute'. Our Guide Eduardo showed us the native Gran Canaria Phoenix Palm and the Drago tree from Tenerife then we had time to wander around the beautiful cactus garden that apparently has 2000 cacti. I don't know anything about... More

If you are interested in such places - must see. Parking is only at the top entrance, but I would suggest to find parking place near bottom entrance. Not suggested to see on rainy days.

These botanical gardens are very large, spread over a big hill so the views are amazing and there are lots of different sections of various plants. It is free to enter, so a great day out

Really enjoyed the fauna here but wish that there was a little more development regarding the itself. There's no water/shop at the entrance. There is a restaurant but we couldnt find it! We didnt take the bus that drives past once a day (we missed it by 5 mins) so had to walk 3k along the motorway to the next... More

I would not recommend parking at the top car park by the restaurant if you are nervous about heights or not particularly active as there is a significant walk down the cliff to reach the main area of the gardens. Overall a decent trip to see one of the better areas of Gran Canaria. Would definitely recommend stopping at the... More

Jardin Canario is a beautiful botanical garden opened to all during visiting hours. Filled with a large variety of local plants , it's a lovely romantic garden with slopes and stone stairs to explore. Well worth a visit if you enjoy studying different sort of plants.
