Place worth visiting however better not to take your children there unless you want to climb 100 stairs to see the variety of plants. Been reading some good reviews of the restaurant on the top but when we wanted to enter we were said its just for food no entrance for coffee only. This was really dissapointing.

Half of this garden is on the side or a ravine and although the paths are cobbled they can be uneven and steep in places. In the valley bottom there are several 'garden' areas with many endemic plants in them. It is easily reached from Las Palmas on the bus, we left from Santa Catalina bus depot. Well worth the... Hard to get to. Wasn't that special, the attractions there didn't look impressive. Good thing is that it's free. Worth climbing up to a higher point to get a better view of the surrounding areas.

Nothing special. Would never go again. Best thing was that it's free. Otherwise, would've been a massive disappointment.

The gardens are a 20 minute bus ride out of Las Palmas (Route 301/311/303) and free entry. Be careful when you get off bus as this leaves you near the top entrance which is fine if you are young and a Billy Goat!. It is a LONG way down via at times dodgy steps. There is a lower entrance which... More

I'd been keen to visit the garden but was very disappointed. It may be a lot better earlier in the year but in October it was looking very tired. I travelled to the garden by public transport, which is in theory easy enough but not a good idea when you actually try it. There are two entrances, one where there... More

We spent a few hours walking around the gardens. It was surprising to find a garden so plentiful and tidy that was entirely free to visit. The huge cacti and succulents, koi ponds, duck gangs and quirky little flowers were wonderful to walk around. I recommend bringing some water as you can get warm walking, and there aren't any stores... More

Our stop at the garden was included in our bus tour. It is a nice quiet place to view the plants native and imported to the island. Admission is free. Unfortunately we were given only 30 minutes so we could not see much of the garden. The cacti area is interesting. Signage is poor. We started following the signs to... More
