This is a great value attraction in Las Palmas. 6 EUR per adult. Really friendly and helpful staff. The exhibits are well laid out and are very interesting. There was a special exhibition in our visit regarding the British influence within the Port of Las Palmas. Which we were unaware of and found very interesting. There are links at this museum to many major British cities including London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Southampton so that alone should interest fellow countrymen from these cities. Clean toilets and facilities.

A good place to visit with kids of different ages. There you can feel and see how physical laws are working. A person of every age will find smth interesting there. You can watch a movie (in English and Spanish) about our solar system and the universe in the Planetarium. There are some shows for kids, but they are held at a particular time, so it is good to plan your visit when you just come in. There can be lines to the most exciting things in the technological section. You can have a VR experience and more technical stuff. There are sections devoted to human physiology and section where one can read about the history of Gran Canary island. The entrance is not expensive, and the ticket is valid for the whole day so you can go out and then return.

I went with my kids, imagining we would stay there for around 2 hours and then go to the beach. We ended up spending more than 6 hours inside and we only left because it was closing!
The museum is not very big, but very organised and interactive. My kids loved it!
We have been to other Science museums around the world and, although this one is quite simple and small, it has some different things (such a virtual tour of Nefertari’s tomb) that caught the attention of my kids.
Ok, my kids usually spend way more time in museums than the average kid, but you can enjoy the museum for a few hours easily.

There is no food in the museum (apart from a vending machine), so be prepared if your kids are like mine!

I've been to the museum a few times and each time I am less impressed. The exhibitions that change every few months are great but the permanent interactive displays are in need of repair. A lot of them don't work which is disappointing. However, I suppose for the price it's still a nice day out.

Certainly worth a visit, if only to Walk the Virtual Plank... Interesting background to the social history of Las Palmas too, and how Elder and other shipping companies changed the development and the future of Gran Canaria. Right opposite where the big cruise liners dock

Hadn’t really planned to visit, but the weather too breezy for the beach. We were charged 18 euros for 2 adults, a 20 and 17yr old. This included the 3D cinema, the robocoaster (I personally didn’t do but you really should have a go, there are 2 levels hard or easy, I’ve never seen anything like it!), and space planetarium.

I personally preferred the ground level to the others, so much to have a go at and the 3D activities were fantastic! There are plenty of staff on hand to help, and there English was great. A lot of the activities are in both Spanish and English but not all.

Another option is that you can leave and return the same day for free, we couldn’t find a cafe so we popped across the road for lunch before returning. Overall we spent about 4/5 hrs here, great value especially since you don’t have to spend anything once you are in!

I was not expecting a place like this in Las Palmas. Only 6 euros and at least 2-3 hours of educational entertainment for all ages. Definitely worth a visit.

This museum is great value for money. Included in the entrance fee are the full exhibition, a ride on a robot arm, a planetarium and a 4D cinema. Highlights for us were: the robot arm, playing football on the kinect, the interactive exhibits and watching a baby chick hatching.

Science made fun in this museum where you can get hands-on with most things. We enjoyed the 'green screen' TV experience but missed the Planetarium display.

Well what can I say. Helpful, friendly staff, you get to sit in a fighter jet cockpit, a passenger jet simulator cockpit and stand in a lab from the I.S.S ! My children are 16, 14 and 11. They just ran from exhibit to exhibit. Getting to touch so many display items was great fun. And we came to Las Palmas to shop ! If you have an opportunity to visit, don't miss it. Don't miss the imax presentation either, which plays in English, on space and the solar system. Amazing!
