OK beach

It is very well located in front of Alcanaveras barrio and Ciudad Jardin. Not the greatest views but the beach is clean and close to the by bike station.

Of all beaches of Gran Canaria, this one is the least recommendable. It has sand and sea, period. Sitting on the beach, you're looking at containers and cranes. If that's your thing, this is your kind of beach.

Quite a nice beach although it does seem rather "hemmed in" by the port area! Even so there is a nice promenade for a gentle stroll. Definitely worth a look but the main Playa De Las Canteras is by far the better beach.

Lovely clean beach worth a visit but it is next to the port and main road so don't expect paradise! Good to stop off at if you are walking into the port area or to the main beach

The beach is practically in the harbor, but the sand is very clean, every evening rides machine to clean sand. The water is clean, no stains of oil from ships and no odor. Even in the water you can see the small fish. But the lack of sea waves, the water is calm. In The beach is not for rent... More

Definitely not the best of beaches but it makes for a great walk by the shore where you see young locals having fun. Also, if you like less crowded and clean beaches, this one's for you. It also helps that the sand is amazingly soft.

Most people will come here only by mistake. For instance they who have heard about the marvelous beach and promenade on the western side of the isthmus, but end up on this eastern side instead. There are some exceptions, though. - People interesting in freight ship spotting have good reasons to chose this side. Las Palmas' harbour is still important.... More

Despite its location inside the town portuary area, water is clean and most residents living near use this beach to practise sports or take their children for fresh air. Close to the sailing clubs. If you want a relaxed beach day, you'd prefer Las Canteras beach.
