Very nice but in Jan not as much Sun as hoped for going South would have been better the beach has a beautiful long prom to walk along and it is perfect for disabled people. Beautiful designer shops in the main town and many tourist shops along the prom also restaurants.

One of the best city beaches in the world - second only to San Sebastian's La Concha, I would say. Best for swimming at low tide, but well protected by the reef (La Barra) at any time. And plenty of great seafood restaurants nearby!

We noticed how wheelchair friendly the promenade is and there is a huge variety of restaurants. Also beach areas suitable for different activities, such as bathing or surfing.

I took a late afternoon walk before dinner...it was beautiful watching the sunset and different families hanging out on the beach. Lots of eateries around and people were enjoying coffee, snacks, beers and wine. The weather was pleasant...I like the place a lot!
