What a horrible place nothing going on. It's not even a park it's a square with a police station in it

The few times I have been there it has been almost empty and didn't look like much. I was expecting a lot more.

In this plaza you can buy the best selection of foreign newspapers and magazines. Also one of the oldest cafes is in the middle, a good place to meet friends at any time of the day. Across the way is a tourist office with lots of information. If one comes by ship it is the first place one comes to.It... More

Let's get one thing perfectly clear. This is NOT a park with grass and a kids playground (as some Brits seem to expect!). It is a tiled park in the broader sense of the word with beautiful flower beds, trees and shrubs in a good central location close to the port and within easy distance of Las Canteras beach. The... the center of Las Palmas. Tourist office and coffee bar located in this extra large square. It also serves as the starting point for many bus tours. Definitely a place to visit. Stop and have a coffee at the local bar and watch the movement.. A few steps away from The Elder museum and the Port market. A good jump... More

A huge space but more paved than parkland. Overlooking the commercial port, it has been redeveloped. Plenty of bars and restaurants around the edges and the smartest Tourist Information office housed in a traditional, white washed Canarian villa with dark wood balcony. There is a children's play area and some plants but it is mainly about the space. Great science... More

We were based close to this park which was ideal as it has lots of bars and restaurants to visit in the evenings and we spend most of our nights here.

To call this a park is strange. It's a large square with a few trees, a big bus station underground and a collection of bars. Good atmosphere, but absolutely nothing special.

This square were so full of life every day. At daytime there were old mans playing games, some very passionate about. :D Evening there were youngsters skating and spending time.
