Good stadium and athletics track being seated over.

Changes have made it easier to get tickets nearer to the action but this is one of my favourite stadiums despite the drawbacks.

I found out that Gran Canaria had a professional football team when I first visited the island in February 2009. Since then, I have fallen in love with the club and travel from Scotland to watch them between 2 and 4 times a year. Location UD Las Palmas currently play in the top flight of Spanish football, La Primera, and... More

Website directs you to old stadium which is now a nice park. No one there. Telephone. . Doesn't speak English. Go to new stadium to buy tickets. No signs for ticket office. Find ticket office next game Barcelona at home . One side has a roof 200 EUROS. ANY CHEAPER ...140 EUROS IN THE OPEN. I wonder why they never... More

Only 11,000 in the ground when I went but the ultras behind the goal still give a good atmosphere. Does have an old running track which is being dug up but the view you get is fantastic wherever you sit. The outside on the ground is very much like all buildings in gran canaria/tenerife unfinished and looks bad as built... More

2nd time I have taken my boys to see Las Palmas play in league 2 of the Spanish League. We hired a car but taxi depending on where you are would be fine also. Cost is about 15 euros for child and 20-30 euros for adult. Great day out a great football. Big shopping centre next door and you can... More

I visited here to watch RCD Mallorca to play here in a league match. The stadium is about 6km from the centre of Las Palmas. There are couple of buses that take you near the ground because you need to because the ground is at the top of a very steep hill. Tickets usually cost about €15 and can be... More

This is one of those new stadiums that looks great in pictures and is OK in real life, but far from ideal. The track around the pitch means there are no really good seats in the stadium, and it's hard to create an atmosphere with that much dead space. That being said, the atmosphere is still OK when it's somewhat... More

Remembering the glory days of UD Las Palmas, top division with the stadium always full you can´t help but feel dismayed as the team remains in 2nd Division doldrums
