We hadn't realised until buying a ticket that this is now an art gallery, within an old castle. We were warned before handing over our money, so I suspect this happens a lot! It's beautifully finished inside, and a refreshing change from the rest of...More

It was OK but the cast iron sculpture was all a bit samey. No great views of teh city which is what I expected and thought the signage suggested.

We had trouble finding this place but once we did it was worth it. It was a great mix of modern art and the history of the castle. It is smart phone interactive giving you as much information on the art and the history of...More

May be not easy to find, but once there, you will have a marvellous example of a Perfect resturation. Most of the Castle is used as art Exhibitions. Youhave to pay a small entrance fee.

Not worth going in. Inside is a gutted shell. You could not go up to the top of the walls, the sculpture exhibition was spread out thinly and was mostly empty space

Free entry on certain evenings. Inside is converted into a gallery with fabulous display by local sculptor (metal work). Absolutely stunning and well presented. I imagine most tourists just look at outside and miss the best bit.

The castle is now the exhibition hall for Martin Chirini, famous Las Palmas and world renowned sculptor. Well worth a visit.

We expected a "usual" old fortress. It was that also but several artists has things inside . very nice and a surprise for us.

Well, haven't been inside as it is mainly closed for private visitors. But it's castle near the port. If you have seen big and nice castles in Europe, this will not astonish you. But, hey, you are here - pass by and check it out.
