Started our walk from the car park & headed up the main pathway. The views as you climb through the trees are amazing & it was nice to enjoy them for a moment in the shade.
The climb does steepen & a reasonable level of mobility is needed to ascend some areas.
On reaching the Frog & The Friar the views are simply spectacular & worth every step taken the reach them.

A stunning place to hiking, considering the current situation, you walk almost alone. Due to this almost nothing is open (bars, restaurant) handle enough water with you. But it is well worth the sight of seeing the top of Mount Tenerife as well.

Great hike...not over whelming, but requires proper shoes...some inclines and uneven paths. Worth the climb as views on a clear day are exceptional. No washrooms, restaurants. Parking is available...suggest an early arrival as the mountain becomes more crowded and parking fills up.

We decided to go by rental car up to Roque Nublo from Playa del Cura via Mogan. Mogan is a lovely village on the way up the hills and is well worth a stop and a closer look. The road after Mogan was steep, narrow and winding. The landscape was dramatic and beautiful. Not all dangerous passages were fenced, so if you are not keen on challenging roads in the mountains, I suggest that you choose an alternative road up to the Roque Nublo, such as the one we drove down along - the road to Las Palmas. Even if the road to the hill might be a bit of a challenge you are rewarded when you reach the parking lot where the trail to Roque Nublo begins. We arrived at the parking lot at about 11:00 and there were hardly any parking lot left, so be there early, to be able to park your car. Overall, a very scenic area, with views of villages far away down on the valleys. We could also clearly see the neighbour island Tenerife.

There is no toilet at the parking lot, so it is advisable that all in the company try to cover their toilet needs before departure (or in the woods along the trail). We learnt that there is a toilet 2 km down the road towards Las Palmas. At the parking lot there was a small truck that was selling ice-cream and local produce, such as bread and honey.

Nice walk which isn't too strenuous. We also did the circuit walk around the base which was easy to follow. We had a beautiful day with no wind and views as far as Mount Teide on Tenerife.

We got in the main car park around 9:30 on a Monday morning but by the time we left the car parks were full and there were cars parked on the road for at least 1 mile east of the car park.

I have climbed this many times and every time the views are stunning what ever the weather you are guaranteed a view you will not forget. Not for the faint hearted but not the hardest either. The paths are very easy and you see many people going up and down all the time. Only thing to note is parking when busy can be hard and a short walk from the car may be required.

We went here by ourselves in a rented car. The parking lot is rather small and it was completely packed despite there being fewer tourists than normally, so come early if possible. The trip to the rock is a short hike of a few kilometers, and is easy to walk without any equipment if you’re used to hiking. It is recommended to bring water especially on hot days.

It's not easy to find a parking space, even though the parking is quite large.
Views at the top and on the way are enjoyable. Some parts of the hike you go in the shade, which is nice in hot days.
At the bottom, by the parking - at least when I was there - there is a man with a van selling local food and drinks in NORMAL prices. Good to get a treat after walking up and down!

Good 20 min walk from parking,
Was extremely windy - make sure to bring a windbreaker.
The reward on the top was perfect, should have brought a sandwich and just enjoyed the view for longer.
Highly recommended to go here.
And driving the mountain roads is always good fun

There is no way one can be in Canaria and not have visited this area. There are amazing views, special rock formations and beautiful walks.
Only things to keep in mind: come early as limited parking spaces, bring water and go to the bathroom before going there or climbing (there are no toilets).
