Hello, my name is Pavel and I am a licenced guide for Gran Canaria. Welcome to my 1 man company Excursions Gran Canaria! I provide only 1 wonderful tour weekly. It starts and finishes in Las Palmas, although it is manageable also for the southern resorts holidaymakers to join by public bus (you can find more details on the public transport in the FAQs on my website). I design my tours in the way I would like to be guided through this beautiful island. You will learn about its history, people, gastronomy, architecture, plants and nature. On the tour - you will cross the island from the north to the south. You will visit a volcano, stroll picturesque villages, admire the views from the highest mountain and have a chance for a quick swim by the sand dunes. I went on this trip today & had a great time. Pavel is very knowledgeable on all aspects of Gran Canarian history, culture, landscape & plants. This trip visits some of the smaller villages & sights that you would never reach on bigger trips. Highly recommended.

We saw the real beauty of Gran Canaria and the history of the island was explained. The tour guide was very good who keep the tour interesting and light hearted. A must tour if you are new to the island, also a very good value for the price.

Brilliant! This was our second tour organised by Pavel and each time we have been amazed at the quality of the history and information about Gran Canaria. His enthusiasm about the knowledge of the places he selects to visit is infectious. On both occasions Pavel’s generosity has been notable, for example he provided refreshments. Pavel is both caring and thoughtful towards everyone and has a wonderful sense of humour. His energy is astounding! We would love to come on a future tour.

I am so glad I booked this tour. It was really quite a special day, largely because of the tour guide, who is a wonderful guy, full of energy and very funny. It really takes a lot of skill to manage everyone's needs and keep the group happy too. It was a really nice group of people who mixed well - 17 in our group - ideal if travelling solo. . Highlights for me were a visit to Tera and the coffee plantation, full of ripening oranges, vines and coffee buds. The scenery is lush and green North of the Island. We were so lucky to get great weather. I'm a very keen photographer and was busy snapping away - stunning landscapes.

For anyone who wants to see parts of Gran Canaria that other tours don't go to I highly recommend this tour.
Gran Canaria is 47km from east to west. This tour covers 200km so that's a very comprehensive tour. We visited small towns with individual histories. Our tour guide has incredible knowledge of the area, It's history and culture. This includes every detail of the coffee making process from start to finish. This was very evident as the tour includes a visit to a small coffee farm which produces coffee unique to Gran Canaria. We could not have asked for a better guide. Very helpful in every way.
There is also an excellent three course lunch available for an extra €7. Definitely worth it.
This tour was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I cannot put into words how much we enjoyed it. We would recommend it to anyone who visits Gran Canaria and would certainly do it again if we ever come back.

We loved Pavel and his tour! We felt like we got to see a huge part of the island which was important because we only had one day on Gran Canaria. The lunch spot was delicious.
Pavel knew so much about the island, we learned a lot and got to see some seriously beautiful sights. The value for what we received was top notch.

Fantastic day plan and even better tour guide Paul. Very knowledgeable and gave a lot of free time. Got the best lunch of our trip. Only thing to say is the journey can be a bit nauseating but that’s because of the roads and altitude nothing to do with the tour. 5 stars

Great trip showing the real Gran Canaria. From mountain top where we spotted Tenerife in the distance, through small villages that we would never have been able to visit otherwise, we finished of our trip with a stop at Maspalomas. It was a wonderful day. Our tour guide was excellent and made the journey fun while passing on all the facts regarding the areas we visited.
Just one word of warning - Anyone who suffers from travel sickness should be aware that the roads are quite twisty.

Didnt actually make the tour because of a mistake on my part but the host fixed the issue in no time and even told me about anthor tour that I could catch. I am sad I missed the tour but will make sure 100% I get it right next time!

We took this north Gran Canaria tour with Pavel to have a wholesome picture of the island .
We had a really good time, we saw beautiful villages , coffee plantations, different landscapes and received a thorough description of the life on Gran Canaria

Hello, I am very sorry, I haven´t received and read this question till now. I am also sorry I cannot accept babies on tour. The reason is that in my previous experience babies and small kids almost always felt sick and vomited on our twisting roads and on most of the tour we drive them to nearly 2000m of height in the mountains. It was not a good day for the babies, nor their parents and the rest of the participants. Also, the tour is quite long and has its dynamic that I cannot appropriate for the babies or change the plans to fit their needs. I would recommend hiring a car and making your own flexible tour or participating on a shorter excursion that doesn´t rise up so high to the mountains.
I am sorry for that and sending greetings from Gran Canaria.

Hi Pavel, Doubt you remember me but I did your "Gran Tour" last February, I was the vegetarian who had problems with her teeth and couldn't eat anything hard! Thank you again for looking after me so well. Anyway, despite my troubles I had such a good time that I'm coming back, this time to enjoy more food, now I'm not in pain anymore. Two questions, I will be staying in Maspalomas at the start of my holiday, and plan to take the bus (with my friend) back to Tajeda on one of the days, I wondered if you could tell me the name of the restaurant we had lunch at? Thank you. Also I will be back in Las Palmas, once my friend leaves, so I wondered if you had any other trips on offer?

I have the Lazy Wednesday Tour, you can see the description and photos on my website or at TripAdvisor. You could also join the tour you did before, because I changed the program after the large fire in August and there are 4 new visits now - Arucas, Firgas, Moya and Tilos de Moya instead of Tejeda and Roque Nublo.

sorry for the delay. I haven´t received any advice from TA about your request and have seen it now accidentaly. In case of other questions, it would be quicker if you use my email (listed in the property description). As far as I see in Oceana itinerary, it shall be docking in Las Palmas 8:00 - 18:00. Our departure point is only aproximatelly 5 minutes walk from the cruising port. We normally return back to Las Palmas around 17:00. But sometimes if there is a traffic jam on the highway we may be delayed on the way back and Christmass is unpredictable. The latest time we have returned untill now was slightly before 18:00. So I am sorry, but it is on you to decide wheather you would like to accept such a risk.

I am sorry for the delay in reply, I have received the notice about your question right now. First of all please note that we don´t speak any Russian. The tours are in English and Spanish. As far as I understood thanks to the Google Traductor, you are stopping on Gran Canaria during your cruise on 25th September and would like to join the Lazy Wednesday Tour. I have found in the cruising program for Las Palmas only 1 ship on the day 25th September - the cruiser Sirena. I can also see that this ship is leaving Las Palmas at 16:00. So if this is your boat, I am afraid you cannot participate, because the tour finishes around 17:00 or slighly later, if we have a delay. If you´re staying until later please contact me on the indicated email in the company info to discuss the details, it is quicker and I there is only couple of seats disponible at the moment.

Hello, unfortunately I cannot admit an infant for the tours. The excursions are rather long and we drive the twisting roads where little kids usually have troubles. I also cannot appropriate the program of the tours to the needs of babies in a group of 20 persons. That is principally why the minimum age is set up for 5 years of age and even with older kids I always contact the parents to be sure they will be fine. I am very sorry for that,

I am very sorry, but the tours are not possible to do on the wheelchair. Apart of being rather long and challenging, many places visited on the tours are not aconditioned for wheelchairs, there are always some stairs or bits of tartar roads to take, not speaking about the hike. Also the bus is small to fit to the narrow roads we drive and not aconditioned for the disabled. I am very sorry but I am afraid it wouldn't be possible for you.
