Our guide Paula was the best, she is really nice and passionate to her job and speak fluenty english and german. The tour in the finca with her was really interesting,you can see and try fresh fruits from mango to orange At the end you will have a tasting of delicious wine with local cheese, marmelade and others delicatessen and try the most famous coffee in the island All for just 8€ ( you can pay by cash or card) They have as well a little shop where you can buy everything that you tried We will definetly will come back Thanks Paula

Decided to do some sightseeing one day due to cloudy weather during our stay in Galdar. Was recommended by a local resident. Finca la laja is a winery and coffee farm situated a slow 25 minute drive from Galdar. We were greeted by friendly staff who offered us a tour of the winery with snacks and a wine tasting for a very reasonable €8.. We found the short tour very interesting and informative and afterwards we were led to an outside restauraunt terrace. We were served with a generous sample of white wine and snacks of dry rye bread, coffee marmalade (delicious for coffee lovers like me) local cheese and homemade cake. 2nd generous sample of wine arrived and snacks topped up. This continued for around an hour with 3 more wine tastings and snacks.. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful throughout. There's also a small shop selling the wine you've sampled laid out in the same order which they were served. And of course I had to buy a bottle and a couple of jars of the coffee marmalade which helps to kick start me before work now I'm back in the UK.. Excellent value for money if you're in the area and have a couple of hours to pass.. Would go back again even if only for the wine and light lunch..lol
