About
The only animal recue centre in the Canaries. COCODRILE PARK is home to many animals brought by individuals or seized governmments. Many have terrible stories of abuse and neglect before coming here.

Great fun for the whole family!

10 euros is such a small price for the whole
garden. Of course there are many crocodiles and many different animals but the cactuses! They are like a few meters high!

Unfortunetly some of the glass of the caves were so dirty. Sometimes it was hard to make a picture! 😅

Visiting the crocodile park
Feb 2021 • Family
After visiting the palmitos park I expected less of the crocodile park but this was a wonderful experience! Not only was there a LOT of crocodiles but there were many other animals as well. I was shocked to see so much crocodiles up front. The monkeys were super cute! One of them was throwing us their food. This is your sign to go to there

Surprisingly good

Cocdrilo park is not a zoo, it is a rescue centre and so only has a handful of species. but it is an excellent place to see its inhabitants up close.

Budget bought animals in small enclosures.

Cave tunnel full of people followed by unhealthy looking tiger. Crocodile that has one front hand missing relocated due to bad temperament. I’m not an animal activist but it’s not fair on them. I’m ashamed of myself.

Fabulous Animal Sanctuary
Feb 2020
We visited the sanctuary after somebody else mentioning it to us. So glad we went on their recommendation. The sanctuary provides free transport from resorts to allow you to spend half a day with them. The price is really good value and knowing that your money is helping to support such a wonderful place really makes a difference.

There are a number of various animals including tigers, apes, goats, crocodiles, snakes, turtles just to name a few. You can tell the animals are well cared for after their rescue from some quite horrendous places. A lovely touch is that the staff put on an interactive session with a number of the animals, explaining where they have come from and bring them around for people to look/touch.

This for me was the highlight of our holiday and I would recommend people go and visit this fantastic place and support the great work they are doing.

Thank you to the staff for the lovely time we had with you.

Nice trip out
Jan 2020
Boyfriend and I visited here when we visited Gran Canaria. If you love animals, you can't go wrong with this place. Lots of things to learn about crocodiles and they have tigers and some smaller creatures too.

Food court was a bit small and they had 1 vegetarian option which was a burger, but to be fair I've found that most zoos don't have fantastic meat-free options.

Free bus on certain days from certain holidays which is a bonus.

My only criticisms are that the enclosures are a bit on the small side and the zoo itself is rather small, you can do the whole thing and grab some lunch within 2 hours. Not much of a "day out", just a quick morning trip.

Surpassed expectations
Apr 2019 • Family
After visiting the big zoo (Palmitos Park) and Europes biggest and dare I say best(?) aquarium (Poema del Mar) we weren't expecting to have such an amazing day at Crocodilo Park. But how wrong we were! Yes it's obviously not as big as Palmitos Park but it's considerably cheaper and was still a dab say out. Hands on animals, all animals looked healthy and happy. Staff were lovely and all clearly knew the animals inside out. Would definitely go again. Loads of animals other than just Crocs too (despite the pics I've uploaded but didn't want to upload any with our little 'uns faces on and these happen to be the most suitable ones!)

Well worth a visit
Mar 2020 • Family
My Grandson and I caught the free bus from San Agustin, it took about 20 mind to get there. We arrived about 11 and the bus would be leaving at 2.15,plenty of time.
The admission was reasonable, especially as it is a rescue centre for various types of animals.
There are lots of crocodiles, alligators, porcupines, tortoise, birds, snakes and many others.
The restaurant was brilliant, great food for a reasonable price, the food itself was very good.
I did mention to one member of staff that there should be more signs in English and Germans around the park and exhibits, although they seem to have plenty when it comes to selling to the visiting customers. Prime example, and I’m sure they must have lots of people making this mistake, walking into the walk in bird aviary through the exit. I did mention this to a member of staff, a couple of extra signs would make the staff and customers lives a lot easier.
Definitely worth a visit.

Lots of Crocodiles and other dangerous soecies
Feb 2020
This zoo is a rescue zoo for exotic pets, so two white tigers, snakes, baboon, turtles and lots of Crocodiles. There is a children’s hands on experience with a kid goat, giant tortoise and a python.

We pre booked tickets which on the door cost €9.90 adults and €6.90 for children and there is a free bus service. The timings of the attractiona
