GREAT FOR SURFERS

Best location for wind surfers and sail boards as it is incredibly windy here supposed to be the windiest beach on the islands and hence gets a lot of surfers etc

Near the town you can take a swim on a sand beach - not standard on La Gomera - The amenities are rudimental, but cross the road and you find a park with a kid playing ground. The beach is protected from the waves but not from the wind.

We had a 2 hour wait here before we caught our ferry back to Los Cristianos, after staying on the island for 2 nights. It is a lovely unspoilt town , very flat and easy to walk around . Lots of little eating places . The Small black sand beach was empty, it had a few straw sunshades which would... More

The beach looked to be quite inviting albeit that we were there when it was quite cool so did not actually venture onto the beach

We are told that February is usually a busy month in San Sibastian but until this weekend it was relatively quite. Even now with the carnival atmosphere it is very pleasant. 25° each day. Our hotel is up a steep incline takes about 10 minutes down and 20 back but we earn our dinner! Vert relaxed place with beautiful scenery.... More

Having booked an organised trip by ferry from Los Christianos to La Gomera on Christmas Eve, we were collected at the hotel and shuttled to the ferry. The ferry journey took about 30 minutes, and on arrival in La Gomera we boarded a coach for a tour of the Island, which included lunch and a demonstration by the whistling waitrons.... More

This is a lovely beach, as long as you like black sand. Rarely anyone on the beach. right by the small town with men playing dominos out of the sun in the square, interesting to watch them move periodically. Several bars and restaurants An oasis

We visited here from Playa de Santiago, where we were staying. It sa pretty little town with lots of interesting little shops, restaurants, small bars and a couple of lovely beaches. Well worth a visit.
