Great view! No entrance fee. Welcoming guide. It's possible to get there either by hiking from Agulo or driving. The road by car is quite narrow. The view from the mirador is iconic for La Gomera with a great view towards Teide on Tenerife. The cafe was still closed in December.

Very narrow road all the way up with the jeep but worth every second. The views of Tenerife and El Teide were breathtaking and we were very lucky to visit on a magnificent clear day. Behind the restaurant there’s a spot for very good pics with the view. Food is good (we were here as part of a tour) and we were also given a show of their whistle language.

Two ways narrow road to get there but worth the effort. Straight on top of the city, great view of Teide right in front of view. Can also achieve the same view from outside the Mirador though will miss the thrill of walking on the glass platform.

Shocking service! Arrived at 9am to avoid the queues, by 11:30am no-one had arrived to open up. The hours outside the door and on google also state it should be open at 10am. A whole morning wasted!

Of course it is the restaurant that offers the best view of a natural landscape, where I have been able to have lunch. Also the staff is very friendly and hopefully you can see a show of silvo gomero and the food is quite good.

Incredible setting and magnificent scenery but the rudest staff ever -we asked for menus 3 times and eventually went and got ourselves we explained we had tight timeline as had to collect match ferry -15 minutes passed and still no waiter to take order I approached the lady at counter who rudely ushers me back to table after another 5 minutes being ignored we left hungry to get our ferry! also witnessed two staff having an angry loud disagreement

We were taken here for lunch while on a day trip to La Gomera. The location is very special with superb views of the village of Agulo and the ocean way below. There are viewing areas outside surrounded by safety glass but the main attraction is the indoor overhanging viewing platform with glass floor and sides.
We were served a tasty 4 course lunch with wine and then treated to a very impressive whistling display. We would certainly go there again if making a return to La Gomera.
The only negative for this lovely restaurant is the inadequate toilet facilities, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. There are only one each for ladies and gents. Because we were on an organised trip we didn’t have time to join the long queues. Even the gents had about 6 in the queue and the ladies was much longer. I hate to think how long they had to wait! The car park also seemed rather small but as we were not parking ourselves I am not qualified to comment on this.
If you visit the village of Agulo the viewing platform can be seen way way up overhanging the cliffs though you might need binoculars as it’s a long way up.

Friends
Last year the weather was misty in northern La Gomera when we visited Abrante.
We were so glad we did the same taxi trip from San Sebastian this March. This is a friendly little cafe with world class views

We walked up to the Mirador from Agulo along the steep ascent. Well worth it for the magnificent view over Agulo, the ocean and Teide. The restaurant was closed due to the pandemic.

Make the effort to visit the Mirador Abrante you will not be disappointed. Very generous in that they allow you on their dramatic glass balcony towering thousands of feet over the edge all this even if you don't buy anything. On clearer days fantastic views of mount Teide Tenerife. We had fish and Entrcote steak which was superb and not too costly. Also worth a mention is the demonstration of the ancient whistling language of La Gomera. Would certainly recommend a visit
