My wife and I wanted to see as much of the island’s beauty spots and cultural values as we could fit into our short visit. Morro Velosa was very high on that list.
That said, visitors must be warned about the disgraceful state of the...More
We stopped at this Mirador whilst driving to Betancuria. The views from the viewing point are amazing, you have a full 360 degree panoramic view of the landscape. If you are passing the viewing point, I would definitely make the effort to stop.
We weren’t sure whether to pop up and see this but the views are epic, the pictures on here don’t do it justice. The exhibition is a little lacking but enough to explain the history of the island. Also, from a personal viewpoint the drive...More
A very nice circular walk out of Betancuria leads you to this Mirador. Steep climb, especially the first half hour, but rewarded with very nice views. The Mirador is the jewel on the crown, but you already get fantastic view on the way there. Unfortunately...More

The views from this mountain top are spectacular. Coast to cost. We trekked on foot to the top but it was worth it. The shop was open but for some reason the restaurant staff had walked out!. The info centre and the little exhibition are...More
The road leading here, the FV30, is a winding and steep route however it's worth the extra detour up the access road to the Visitor Centre for the fantastic 360 degree views. The approach which is narrow in parts has good visibility to see vehicles...More
Best place we found on our little mountain tour, loads of parking
The views are to die for- Coast to Coast
The Information Centre is informative & although it was nice to find somewhere that's free, a small charge wouldn't go amiss to improve the...More
