Not to be missed of the list of sites to see in this very interesting city. Do pay extra for the guided tour as you won’t be disappointed. Learn about the history of the island, Ciutadella and the building itself. Really informative guide (perfect English). Take in the marvellous painted ceilings from the organ loft, visit the old classrooms and library. After the tour take lunch at Bistrot Es Rodol on the other side of the side of the street (to the right). Tours at 12 noon only.

Cool and calm in the centre of the old town. Unusual exhibits, a bit Victorian in content! Peaceful and beautiful. Easy to while away an hour or so. They also put on concerts. We went to an organ and flute concert which was a very lovely surprise. Never knew how tuneful the organ could be.

This was included in the ticket for the Cathedral, and the Convent Cloisters are well worth a visit. A well-kept, calm and relaxing space, with various exhibitions in small rooms.

Museo Diocesa is very interesting, there are many stones, archaeological and paleontological founds as nice amonites and as I was a collector of stones it was the right visit for me; there are more rooms to explore.

This attraction is actually entirety of Diocesan Museum of Minorca, Socors de Ciutadella Church and Socors Cloister.
Allow plenty of time, this museum has a huge collection of different types of attractions and in this museum you can freely take photos (unlike many other museums in Minorca). The building itself is also charming with a beautiful court (patio).
Museum tickets can be conveniently purchased together for Cathedral and Museum, 5 EUR. The property involves i.a. a beautiful smaller chapel room and a bigger church hall. It is a former Augustinian convent and cloister.
Beautiful paintings, beautiful setting, I think this is the most important place to visit in Ciutadella.

There are several rooms with different topics. The most attractive features are the inner court yard with a garden and a cistern, and the church in need of a lot of TLC.

We took some friends & their children here last week & we all had a great time looking at all of the exhibits.
The church is gradually being repaired & was in a better condition that the last time we saw it which is good news.
The children were especially enthralled by the whale skeleton.

We bought two tickets for €5 each at the Cathedral (which is beautiful) and then wondered over to the museum. My kids, who are 9 and 7, got in for free, which was a nice touch. The museum is fascinating, the building has a peaceful quality, the grounds are tranquil and it was a lovely experience for the while family. I'd definitely recommend it.

Lots of interesting artifacts and history of the local area, really enjoyable 2 hours wandering around and for 5 euros per person including access to the cathedral pretty good value, kids under 5 go free too.

Went to visit this as the ticket for the cathedral also covered this, an old convent.
Each room had different things in it, very interesting was the old gold coins and perfume bottles.
The most interesting was the last room - well a chapel/church - it was very old and you could see the old paintings on the wall fading.
A lovely peaceful place.
