The necropolis might be impressive from its size and making (in the stony area). Compared to caves these niches are not too impressive and big. A lot of carving work must have been done by nature (that is how it looks like), some parts done by people. Nothing I would miss when here, nothing I would drive long to get to.

If you are visiting this area then definitely walk around the necropolis- it is incredible to think how people carved out these caves with ancient basic tools.

Interesting site with many caves to view. Caves used for funerals and burials. Large area to explore, bigger than you expect. Good views over Cala Morell from the top. Docked a point because no information to help understand what you're looking at.

While it was an interesting outing, it was much smaller than I'd anticipated and we were through in no time. Parking is very limited, so if you find a spot by the necropolis, grab it and stay parked there if you plan on going to the beach as well. The walk down to the cove is a good 10-15 minute walk along the road, so not the most pleasant of walks, especially if you're shlepping beach bags, umbrellas, children, etc. But we two adults managed it fine. Luckily it was an overcast day, so we hadn't planned a beach day, which was fortunate because while the scenery is pretty, the beach was not. Go to the beach bar for a coffee though and admire the view! Clamber around the cliffs too, the rock formations are really interesting.

Easy free parking just by the roadside on the way into the village. No charge to enter and unspoilt. Just a couple of signs telling you what's what. Some climbing required and uneven paths though set in a small valley so you won't need hiking gear. Kids can easily find the caves
