A hidden jewel, if they kept it clean...
Jul 2020
Look at the pictures... from a distance it looks like a beautiful cove with crystal clear water and natural shade. Actually the sand is very polluted, and the water too (maybe only when the wind is unfavorable?). Colors aren't everything for people who really love the sea and the beach... Too bad...

Clear water and clear beach
Oct 2019
We were looking for a good place to spend a relaxing day. Away form popular places and still not deserted or wild. Ideally, this beach suited our expectations and it was beautiful. The water was great, the beach clean.

wonderful waters
Oct 2019
This is a very nice beach with wonderful views. It might be quite crowded (nothing compared to Italian coast beaches) an is not too large, which makes it lovely.

Crystal clear water, make sure to go early to spot pink beach
Jun 2019
Crystal clear water that will worth your hike (actually it's more like a long walk since it's very flat). The beach is not big so make sure to go early to get a nice spot and also to spot pink beach.

Small & lovely
Aug 2019
Once you depart from Son Saura carpark, do not go all the way along the coast (at least one way), but turn left on the wooden catwalk along the Platja de Bellavista ainstead nd cut through the small peninsula. The walk itself is not spectacular (it's more interesting if you pass Es Talaier and go farther), but the beach in discussion checks some important boxes. In the morning (and of course you must arrive early if you want to have a chance to park) it was not busy, reasonable shade was provided on one side by the trees, the water itself was clear and there are nice rocks around.

10 minutes walk from Son Saura
Aug 2019
very short walk from the parking, compared to the others we visited! when you get to son saura take the path on the left half way the wooden walkway and you will get there in no time walking in the shade instead of taking the camì de cavalls that goes around the cliff. when you get there sea is wonderful, shade under the trees so you don't really need a beach umbrella

Our Favourite
Jun 2019 • Family
We spent 9 days in Menorca and this beach was our favourite out of the ones we managed to visit. Park at Son Saura and its a 20 minute walk from the car park. Easy enough that I did it in flip flops! Once you get onto the board walk there is a trail to follow through the trees.

A beautiful secluded beach
May 2019 • Family
Worth the walk to get to this secluded beach. Crystal blue water with golden sand. The most beautiful beach we had seen in menorca! A must see!

Beautiful beach after a short hike
Oct 2017 • Couples
We drove to Son Saura beach which had plenty of parking. From there it is a short hike to Cala Es Talaier. Either you take a shortcut across the peninsula from Son Saura beach or you follow Cami Cavalls trail which is longer. It takes 20 to 40 minutes depending what path you take.
It is well wworth walking as the beach is very beautiful. Less crowded than the other beaches. We were there in October and there were very few people on the beach. You can get shade on etiher side of the beach or in the far back. It is a very realaxed beach as most beaches in Menorca. You can be nude or with swim clothes, whatever you prefer.
There are no facilties at the beach.
