Very nice beach. We went there by car. The road was narrow in some points and were thinking is it a good road we’re going to. Nearly at the end is a car park and from there we had to walk about 15-20 minutes (slow...More
About 2 or 3 km walk for Cala Galdana up and along cliff top through woods. Not a difficult walk but care needed as some parts were a wee bit rocky. One word of warning - 215 wooden steps down to beach (with cafe at...More
What an amazing day my wife and I spent in Cala Macarella. We travelled to Menorca in October, and we’re expecting poor weather, but we had 23-26°C weather everyday, warm enough to visit some beaches for sure!

Beautiful beach and wonderful walk from Cala Galdana although in places could be better signposted. Rocky in places and steps to beach easy to manage with rails but there are over 200! The walk takes about 45 minutes and is so worth it!

Despite some real negatives, this place is wotth every effort to get to. Iti was a white knuckle drive to get to, very narrow road with some very stupid Spanish drivers intent on killing the tourists by extremely dangerous driving. Happily, this year, they have...More
