We had a nice day here at the 'zoo'. Don't expect huge exotic species, but still fun.

We especially liked the snake experience and the walk through enclosures.

Small shop. OK cafe.

Great little zoo, with lots of variety. Plenty to keep little ones entertained.

Really great that they have a lot of rescue animals too.

Nice shop, clean loos and nice picnic/play area.

My son was 18 mths when we came last...he's nearly 13 now and Suli the Macaw was still there to greet us! I don't understand the bad reviews for this marvelous little zoo, feed the goats, pet the horses, interact with the rescue animals, what's not too like?
It's grown since we were last here but is still small enough and inexpensive so makes a great afternoon.
If you're on the ME:1 make a day of it and visit the Donkey Sanctuary at Alaior too, opens 10-2 so you can easily do both.
Oh..and book on line the day before for a discount!

Zoo was fine for little children though a lot of farm animals. Reptile display was good. Our little one loved the splash park and soft play.

However all the positives were runined by the extremely rude staff in the cafe. We had a picnic already and just wanted to buy three ice creams whilst we visited the rest of the zoo. They totally ignored us and laughed about it with each other. Not sure what their problem is but that is pretty cruel when we have a little 4 year old who really wanted an ice cream and since you cannot get them anywhere else. In the end we walked out as it was clear for whatever reason the curly hair woman and two others weren't going to serve us even though they were serving Spanish customers cafe from the bar, perhaps they just don't like foreigners. I'd have given the zoo 4 stars if it weren't for this experience what a pity. Don't advertise ice creams outside your cafe if you don't want to sell them to anyone. To the owners please train the staff in your cafe behind the bar to be polite and courteous to visitors and not to be bigots. I should add the rest of the staff at the zoo such as the animal handlers were fine and some were lovely and went out of their way to help us.

We visited in February with two children 6 and 8 years old..They loved the feeding time.My girl loves penguins so it was her favorite. There were few species that she never saw, the baby chick was real treat. The show with the dolphins was less spectacular for me than in Marinaland in Majorca, but my girls were very impressed. For me it is important that my kids enjoyed. We just arrived too late to enjoy visiting longer,we only had time to watch the feedings and the shows. But at least we managed not to miss any of them. The employed are very friendly and trying to make us happy, we learned many things about the animals there.

A family run zoo where all the animals have been rescued.

Not very big but was nicely laid out with a variety of domestic and wild animals.

€13 per adult, I feel, was a reasonable price to pay when we could see the bird of prey fly, handle a big yellow python and pet the goats.

There is a nice little bar/snack restaurant which served burgers hot dogs etc. Very friendly helpful staff.

A lovely small zoo near the airport giving a taste of Menorcan animals as well as some international offerings. A hands on approach is very welcome and exciting for the children.

What a fantastic little place. So nice to see these animals so well looked after and to know they have been rescued just makes it so much better. The place is very well kept and staff are constantly cleaning/maintaining the area and are really friendly and helpful. Really good interaction with the animals, able to feed and pet some of them (what's not to like)! Such a great place to find and a something different and fun to do on our holiday. Would highly reccomend to fellow animal lovers :)
