- Ian A7 contributionsBrilliant way to spend a few hoursWe decided to visit here as the weather was very windy. We were very impressed with the zoo, despite being small there was plenty to see and some hands on experiences. All the animals had good enclosures and looked happy and healthy. Thoroughly recommended whatever the weather as a break from beach daysVisited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 11, 2024
- Clare W4 contributionsA fantastic zoo to visit with kidsWould highly recommend this zoo if you are on holiday with kids! It's not too expensive, is relatively small, and the staff are wonderful. There is a large free carpark and a nice gift shop, plus plenty of toilets. There are zebras, crocodiles, ostriches, turtles, kangaroos, turtles, snakes, goats, birds, monkeys and raccoons. You can go into the goats enclosure and feed them (you'll need 1 euro), can feed the birds and at certain times the zoo keepers bring all the snakes out and let everyone hold/touch them. It's a great zoo as it's really clean and informative, but isn't too big at all. There is a fantastic splash park area for the kids to run through to cool off, so remember to take towels/swimwear etc. There is also a really great cafe - it's pretty big and has indoor and outdoor seating, a good menu of pizzas, hotdogs, sandwiches, nachos etc. There is also a kids area with a huge netted trampoline, and just around the corner is an indoor soft play area. Would definitely recommend for a day out with kids.Visited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 20, 2024
- Tamara W12 contributionsGreat zooLovely zoo. Great day out as a family. It’s a small zoo, we spent a couple of hours. Nice being able to walk with the lemurs and also geese and feed the goats. Would highly recommend.Visited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 1, 2024
- RjdNewcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom11 contributionsFab day outLovely day out with our toddler. We spent the day here with our 1 year old and she absolutely loved it. Perfect size for her and she loved interacting with the goats and snakes. It was busier in the morning due to bus trips being there but lovely and quiet in the afternoon. Entrance, snack bar and gift shop were all reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend for a day out when visiting the islandVisited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 2, 2024
- Nicolelouise18Manchester, United Kingdom25 contributionsA great day out!A lovely day out! So much to do and see for the little ones. Lots of animals, which are so well looked after, a splash park, park area and a little indoor soft play. Lovely cafe too. We really enjoyed our visit and would 100% recommend. If you’re worried about walking around in the heat don’t be as it is very well shaded throughout.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 18, 2024
- James PAberdeen, United Kingdom92 contributionsFantastic zoo for young familiesFantastic zoo for young families, interactive, interesting, an oasis to walk around n the heat, good value too. It has a splash park too to cool off so bring your swimmers. Nice variety of animals and very interactive. My kids [6, 4 and 2 loved it!] Also - it has a really good restaurant that’s fantastic value - one of the best meals I’ve had on menorca this trip.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 21, 2024
- Anne L1 contributionGreat family outingWent here on an arranged trip from our hotel with a family group and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's well laid out, with a variety of animals, all of which seemed to be very relaxed, happy and well cared for. There is a nice little gift shop, good toilets and a cafe for light refreshments.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 23, 2024
- Liam R2 contributionsHidden gem and a bargain!Visited with our young family and an amazing few hours out! Snake holding is brilliant and the splash park finishes the day off. Well looked after animals with many you can roam in. Feeding Goats was lovely and seeing the animals being well kept. - chantal9989Poole, United Kingdom20 contributionsA good family outing at this small zooWe had a lovely couple of hours at this small zoo. Our three year old son really enjoyed it. The animals all seemed well cared for with nice enclosures. The splash park and small playground/soft play sections were good additions. I enjoyed the snake holding (the queue was really long so either get there a bit beforehand or do what I did and enjoy other things until it dies down a bit). We found the bird feeding too hectic to enjoy and the amount of flies in the cafe were a bit off-putting. Nevertheless, it was a great way to spend a morning.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 22, 2024

Absolutely lovely day out! I was expecting more like a small petting zoo, but there were lots of exotic animals in clean enclosures, the paths were well maintained and it was well signposted throughout. Lots of shady spots with benches for resting in hot weather were a pleasant but essential provision. The staff were so friendly and engaging, lots of smiles and very helpful. The toilets were incredibly clean and the restaurant had a varied and tasty menu at decent prices. The childrens play area in the restaurant caters for small children who might get a bit fidgety at meal times. There is also a refreshing and fun water play area for cooling off children and willing adults. We LOVED it and we would definitely come back again. Some highlights were holding the snakes, watching the terrapins jostling for space and plopping in the water, and seeing a baby lemur being given a bath by its mum!

Menorca Zoo is a lovely little zoo/petting farm/animal sanctuary. It’s pretty small so is only a half day experience really unless you are able to use the splash park in hot weather! You feel as those you can get up close to most of the animals & that is a lovely thing. You can hold snakes & have pictures with them this was great fun. The lemurs were very active when we visited hopping over our heads and playing around which was fascinating. Food in the cafe is ok. It’s a very pretty place and feels very much that you are in nature with the animals. Worth a trip with children under 10 I’d say.

We visited this lovely little zoo today with our 18 month old and it was honestly a perfect family day out. The zoo was just the perfect size for our little one to walk around, the paths where all well shaded and easy to follow a route. The animals all looks really well cared for with lovely enclosures (except the aquarium but no one is perfect!), and she loved being able to go in with the baby goats and the birds. We also had lunch it the cafe and the food was good, and also had a little play area to keep her entertained while we waited. She then had a shot in the soft play ball pit and bought a little something in the gifts shop. A great all rounded to keep our active baby entertained and great facilities to help parents. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Fantastic small zoo with wonderful habitats, some interesting animals and lots of shade! There are plenty of chances to interact and get up close with the animals - particularly the goats and lemurs, as well as snakes and lizards to hold. Picnic spots on site as well as a cafe and gift shop, and there's a wet play area for little kids to cool off. Lovely place!

Been many times but think they deserve a new review after the covid lockdowns destroyed most places like this. We visited after 4 years the last time and it's even better than before, staff are friendly and the animals are very well looked after. The new bird area is amazing. water area for kids brilliant, well done. Anyone visiting the island must visit this zoo, both young and old.

A wonderful place - which is not a zoo, but is a rescue/rehab centre where the animals are well cared for and have plenty of room to roam around. Many of the sections are walk-throughs, so you are not looking through fences or glass. We visited in October, so it was not too busy, I would suspect that it would be very busy in the high season.

We have been to Menorca many times but have never visited this Zoo before. How have we missed it? If you are expecting elephants and giraffes you will be disappointed. But if you want a lovely way to spend a few hours this is well worth a visit. Clean, well maintained, shady, lovely staff, great place to entertain and interest young children. Perfect cafe/ restaurant. Simply a lovely few hours.

Hi, we are a family of 5 and will be staying in Cala'n Forcat in June. We would like to visit the Zoo whilst there. What would be the best way to get there? We don't drive so hiring a car is not an option. Is there a bus or could anyone suggest any private transfer companies? Thanks

Is it possible to get around the Zoo in a wheelchair?
Written September 2, 2017
hi I noticed there's a lot of pictures of snakes at this zoo. would it be suitable for someone with a fear of snakes? Are they everywhere? thanks
Written June 4, 2017
hi, you can absolutely visit this with a fear of snakes. they are in a building you walk through, or go around. I can count on 2 hands the number of tanks, and they weren't all full anyway. they definitely aren't everywhere. enjoy
