Currently housing the regional government, this attractive buildlng is notable forthe big arches on the floor above the ground level. And it faces the sea, so lots of sun and a great perspective for picture taking. It was one of the stops of our walking tour of the center.

Housing now the Regional Presidency of the islands the building was originally the seat of the Maritime Court in 1669. It has gone through several alterations over the centuries, an anchor and cannon remind of it's past.

One of the many beautiful buildings that you would pass by when walking down the promenade. It's eye-catching because of the cannons outside which made it stately. Stop by for some photos in this nice neighborhood.

Built in the 1300s to act as a guild tribunal to resolve issues between merchants and sailors it is now home to the government of the Balearic islands.
