Overall, we had a fantastic party day at the Bierkönig from midday until late in the evening with two great performances by the Malle "stars" Frenzy and Schürze. There is no entrance fee to the Bierkönig, but you pay for the entertainment with DJ and live performances with the drinks (a pint of vodka-something for €20.50 + tip).
What sticks in your mind, however, and why the rating is only "satisfactory": these incredibly unfriendly waiters!! Something is going terribly wrong! Because if you dare to get a drink directly from one of the many bars because there is no waiter around, you are then insulted by the waiter and he even threatens to throw you out! For having just bought a drink in the shop he works for?? Simply unbelievable! Another waiter ran after guests to the bar to cancel their order and take it himself! No idea what that was about. They also like to round up 2-3 euros on the card reader so that you don't forget to tip for this friendly treatment!
The bar staff were friendly though and I'm sure not all waiters are such idiots. We haven't had such bad experiences outside of peak season as we did now in August.

We stumbled across this place on our first night in Palma and fell in love with the atmosphere! Hundreds of revellers singing along to german classics, very hard not to get into the mood and embrace the spirit! Expensive drinks, but you're paying for the venue, artists and vibe.

prices have doubled compared to 4 years ago, only 1 waiter per stand is far too few. They earn thousands of euros a day but there is still no proper air conditioning. Furthermore, well cared for and worth the effort.

Kudos to the Germans!
It's nice to see that you can still go out without people picking fights. Groups of Germans (fans of different football clubs) walk happily together partying to German schlager music. We as a Dutch group had a great time. As a Dutch person you are simply welcome and accepted. Over time, German music starts to become a bit much. All in all it was a lot of fun!

It's become a complete mess. Everything is very dirty, it smells like crazy inside. Glasses are dirty and staff are not what they used to be. Doormen beat up two guests who had done nothing wrong. We were a bit stunned.

We went to Bierkönig, because it was the famous place to go in Arenal.
I think compared to what it used to be like there before Corona it is not really worth it . You can only sit at a table with six people and can only walk around with a mask. It kind of kills the fun. (even though the measures are good and are of course reasonable)
I think in general if you ever have the possibility to go to Oktoberfest in Munich or the Stuttgarter Volksfest, I personally would prefer that to Bierkönig.

There were five of them there and at a table right next to the bar.
After our beer was empty, we wanted to get new ones at the bar and were already rejected by the waiter that you can only order through him.
On the next order my colleague had ordered two half because we were about to leave. The waiter then wanted to bring us 4 wholes (so 4 times the price).
We didn't want them, of course, and we said we only ordered two halves.
The waiter then just pushed us away violently and shouted at us. My colleague flew against the table.
If you don't care that you're treated like cattle and completely screwed from back to front, then I can only recommend it.

The security men from the Bierkönig, along with around 6 to 7 people, have just beaten up two German guests in front of the Bierkönig. We filmed this with our cell phones and would like to publish it. The two Germans were already on the ground and the security kept kicking the two lying on the ground in the face. This was so horrible to watch, if the Bierkönig has any self-respect, it should replace its staff immediately, these are the criminals.

This is a late posting. We visited March 2019.
I love Germany so much, I went to a beer tent in Mallorca for my birthday :-)
The tent was basically empty because we visited during the off season. I bought my food from the Grill Kronig outside. The food was great and I was very happy!
This area is like little Germany!

It was a lovely New Year's Eve party. Peter Wackel was very good. Unfortunately the service wasn't that great, there weren't enough service staff. I felt very sorry for the girl in the pavilion, she was completely overworked. It's a shame that the Bierkönig exploits its staff like that.
