We discovered this place in 2016 and will visit at least 2 times every time we go to Mallorca. The younger generation of the family could spend the whole day there and the rest of us enjoy the banter and fun with the owner. Don't miss out, this is a fun place

This was a great find and the range of puzzles available is amazing!
You’re encouraged to have a go and try them out. I had to drag my husband out after a while else he’d have spent all day in there!
Brilliant place to find something a bit different and the staff are lovely. Definitely worth a visit!

When you think of puzzles, you rarely catch a glimpse of handcrafted pieces that will keep your brain working for hours.
We were told by a friend who grew up in Palma that the owner was from Norway or the Netherlands...hmmm one of the "N" countries. He developed many of the puzzles the shop sells. Quite an array on display.
The staff are well trained to allow for fun and we saw several people leaving with brainteasing items in hand.
Our son loved this place. It's worth a stop just to check out the tiny mini-wooden puzzles. Wish I had purchased a few a they fit nicely in hand carry luggage.

One of the highlights of our trip to Palma is a visit to Puzzles. It is almost three years since we were last there so we had forgotten what time it opened. We arrived early but the opening time of 10:15 was clearly stated on the door. We did a bit of window shopping in the area and spent a quiet few minutes in the nearby church. We returned just after 10:15 and although the door was open, there was a small set of steps blocking the doorway and a woman inside clearly still cleaning the place. We waited patiently without her acknowledging us and after more than a good five minutes, the woman snapped "Ten minutes" which we assumed meant we weren't going to get in yet. It was a rude response at best. We went off to do some shopping - elsewhere. After some good retail therapy we returned to Puzzles. In the past, I have 'played' with the various levels of puzzles for quite some time until I eventually bought a number, so my husband left me to go in and went off to a nearby art gallery. As I went in the shop the woman who was now behind the counter firstly ignored me then snapped "You stressed me waiting outside." I couldn't believe what she'd just said and was tempted to respond but didn't. She went on "I hadn't finished cleaning and I also had to go to the bank.". I said I was sorry about that and accepted that she hadn't finished her tasks but it would be helpful to customers if they could put an accurate opening time on display - even an 'adjusted' opening time. The woman clearly didn't like my 'advice' and said "Which puzzle do you want to try" and slid one across to me saying "Try that!" I lied and said I wasn't interested in puzzles myself and just wanted to buy one for a puzzle loving friend. Fortunately, as other customers came into the shop, she lost interest in me and I continued to look round the shop for a suitable puzzle for our friend. I bought one for €38 and she wrapped it nicely for me - though not without a final snipe. She put an extra wooden puzzle in the bag saying "Try to do this then come back and I'll show you how to do it." In your dreams dear! i won't be back in that shop - even if the door is open - unless the delightfully helpful man who was in it last time we visited is in. If the woman was merely a cleaner/shop assistant she urgently needs retraining - if she is an owner or related to the owner she needs to invest in a new opening times poster for the window and change her attitude to potentially interested and free spending customers.

We came here after seeing a sign advertising it in the centre, in the Plaça de Joan Carles I.
It took us a long time to find, as it was a ten minute walk from that sign, and it's not easy to find as it's out of the way down some backstreets.
When we did get there, it was bittersweet. The shop was full of really cool puzzles, but it was laid out like a jeweller's - i.e. you can't freely touch the things on offer (bearing in mind they are all interactive), you have to ask one of the sales assistants to get it for you and there are special green baize counters you can try them out on.
The assistants gave us a couple of puzzles to solve and they were pretty cool, but to be honest we wanted to leave quickly because the only way you can really look at any of the stuff on sale is to have the assistant hand it to you, and we didn't want to be pressured into a sale.
It needs a makeover to make it more user-friendly.

I came across this shop by accident and wish we had something similar in London. The man was very friendly and happy to show various options for gifts. Will be back.

Super service and relaxed atmosphere! Just need to solve it now. Bizarrely we have completed this one once ...I shut my eyes for about 2 minutes and it worked but can not repeat!

We spent over an hour in here! No hard sell tactics and we were actively encouraged to try before buy! I don't know if he was the owner, but we were captively engaged by the German equivalent of 'Willy Wonka's - what a lovely guy and definitely one of the attractions in this small but we'll stocked shop. Drop in and lose yourselves- a nice respite from the designer shops near by and the tourist throng!
